i've got mixed feelings... on one hand it shows the fight which can be aluring to sickos... on the other hand it raises awareness...
but then again if they wanted to get peoples hackles up they would have shown the aftermath of the fight, not the fight itself. for me its more shocking and heart breaking and anger inducing to see a dead dog torn to pieces, or tied up with a soup can taped over his muzzle and left for dead.
if they want to get folks involved then they would look up some of the videos on youtube.. especially the Brian Adams song from Spirit.
for the most part i didnt like that news report. and you beat me to posting this. i didnt like that they were blabbing the profit factor of dog fighting.... how is that different from BYB for profit? its telling the public "This is how much money they make and its a lot and thats WRONG isnt it?!" but old Joe Bob who just got fired might disagree.... a man has to survive after all..
