went and checked out Sparkpeople.com and it looked so interesting (and free) that I signed up. One question... How do you stick to those meal plans? I don't have time to cook like that or eat a breakfast like that! Wow.
You can change your plan around to fit what you like/easiest to make, etc. Breakfast is the hardest for me, since I am up at 4:30...I don't like anything at that point and to make toast for breakfast is a pain. I usually end up eating my lunch around 10:00 and then divide the rest of the breakfast stuff up throughout the rest of the day (yogurt/cottage cheese/banana, etc.) and eat the toast at the end of the day. For lunches I usually pick either ham or turkey on an english muffin with tomatoes and lettuce...I skip the whole wheat because I HATE the taste of it...I am a white bread girl! For dinner, it really isn't too bad since I have to make dinner for Riley/DH anyway. Tonight we had a salad which was not at all filling, but in a 1/2 hour we are eating popcorn.
Honestly, the hardest part is not snacking at work. That stupid vending machine calls my name all the time and the bakery at the front entrance to the building sells HOT bagels with cheese melted on top. I usually stop so I can get a bagel for this homeless guy Joe that hangs out in the building (he's back BTW - not sure where he went, but glad to see him back) and it kills me not to get one for me!!!
