She has crazy eyes...you can SEE her illness very plainly.

    I know!

I heard on the radio driving in this morning that she's had years and years of plastic surgery to try to look like Angelina Jolie. That makes me wonder if there isn't some connection to Brad and Angelina adopting all the children and this woman just going about it a different way.

again WHERE did she get the money for all this? I am floored. Plastic surgery ain't cheap...whatta FREAK this woman is!

The State of California is about to spread the cost of a few more babies among the taxpayers.  Personally, I wouldn't give her a red cent.  In my state, after the third child, you get no additional funds.  Funny, many of the coasters are starting to limit their families...

This is a step in the right direction as far as I'm concerned. Our planet is grossly overcrowded with human beings as it is.Governments should not be subsidising this madness.Have fewer children, treasure them and give them all they need to become valuable members of society. If you love babies then work in daycareSad As the youngest of eight children I can tell you my parents were way too tired to spend any time with me.My sisters were robbed of their own adolecence because they were doing everything for me that my parents should have been doing from reading stories to cooking meals.Of the eight of us three are childless, three have one child, and two have two children.

I started a post this morning about this and got interrupted.  She was asked point blank about her lips and she said they are her own (LOL well they aren't on your face for no reason).  But it appears her hair is dyed too.  I 100% think she is doing her Angelina impersonation, children and all.  They now know who the doctor is because there was a documentary from one of her earlier implantation's AND her lips were not the blown up balloons they are now.

Part of me feels she should have these babies taken away and put into foster care or better still up for adoption.  She isn't caring very well for the previous six and clearly has mental/emotional issues

Yeah, crazy.  I wonder how the taxpayers in the state of California really feel about supporting these kids since I thought I saw on the news that CA is so broke the tax refunds are going to be IOUs.

This California taxpayer is pretty disgusted with the whole idea. The tentative budget deal right now will raise our sales tax, income tax, car licensing fees and tax on gasoline. Maybe they need to add a line to pay for these babies.

    Even when conceived "naturally"

I saw an story on "natural" multiple births and the most were sextuplets and that woman actually had two sets of identical twins so only 4 eggs were ovulated.  The doctors said 8 has never happened and they believed impossible.  Only 4 eggs ovulated at one time has ever been recorded.

A little OT, but I think I'd rather see tax increases than major lay-offs.  You can still buy store brands and put off buying bigger ticket items.  As for "mom of 14" ... maybe she can write a how-too book on BFing. I found nursing one at a time to be about all I could handle.  Nursing twins would be a major accomplishment ... but 8!!! Come on.Surprise

They’re going to watch these kids very carefully for eating problems, growing (problems), and then seizures, jaundice, heart problems, lung problems, blindness, developmental delays — there’s a laundry list of things. Long term, because some of these children will be physically or mentally challenged, there’s a looming price tag out here. The hospital bill alone will run $1.5 to $3 million. Forget about getting to college; just to get through special-needs stuff - it’s going to have to come from somewhere, either the taxpayers of California or her family or her church or the hospital. But she can’t do it alone.

Breastfeeding???  Figuring that a full-term newborn eats about eight and twelve times a day, taking about two to three ounces per feeding (every baby is different, and these averages are for full-term singletons not preemie octuplets, but let’s work on the assumption that the octuplets will grow quickly.) With 128 ounces to a gallon they would consume that means that together they would need about two gallons a day. Nursing is supply and demand, the more demanded of your body, the more it supplies. A body doesn’t know if it is feeding eight babies or one very, very hungry baby, it just rises to the occasion — or tries to. Then she has to eat and increase her calorie intake for each kid in order for the body to be able to produce milk and it be healthy.  If she is successful, she will be walking around with two gal milk jugs on her chest.  Hey, Pamela Anderson can do it, why not? ( the milk jugs I mean).Wink

Equally impossible, is feeding all the babies exclusively from the breast. Let’s say each feeding takes 15 minutes on average (a low estimate) Then assume an average of ten feedings per child per day. That’s four hours per baby, multiplied by all the babies, would require a 32-hour day. You see the problem.  The only way it is remotely possible would be to double electric pump and even that would take such time with 8 babies, diapers, baths, etc and 6 other children to care for how could she possibly do it???  Not...  Her poor mother who probably wants nothing but a normal life is now thrown into this horrible situation to help care for all these children when I am sure she would probably just like to be retired and seeing her grandchildren for enjoyment.  This is a sad, sad situation this lady is so selfish and hoping for a big movie/book/reality opportunity for sure.

There's a visual - 2-gallon sized breasts.  Won't they be attractive after weaning?  LOL

And, of course, if she could really take care of these 8 babies nursing needs, that still leaves the other 6 kids in the lurch.

Anyone happen to notice her well manicured acryllic nails during that NBC interview? I wonder where that $460 someodd from the government is going toward? Surely not her kids....

Here's a site with a few pictures of their home.  Now I can't tell whether it is clean or dirty, but I see no reason why there should be  humongous piles of clothing strewn all over.  That tells me a lot about the attempts made to have a decent living space...nada.  I wonder if those children will really be allowed to go home to this....

I saw on Dr. Phil today, statistically, if she were to BF she'd have to feed 30 hours/per day to keep 8 babies fed. So, obviously that won't work!

    • Gold Top Dog

i can't get this out of my head. this is just so sad... i am sure she loves her children, but she obviously has completely lost touch with reality! how are they EVER gonna manage all these kids, both financially OR logistically? this just makes me wanna cry... poor kids, poor grandparents...
