Really he does like her, she was just showing herself at the moment. • sierra2002 Posted : 7/19/2007 10:09:29 AM For a while I thought so too.. especially when she was a puppy (very wrinkly.. lol). But this guy was convinced she was a purebred. Which is why he was so disappointed when i said "mutt". ETA: I've also never seen a real basenji with my own eyes. Very rare in my area. • tashakota Posted : 7/19/2007 11:00:02 AM We frequently get people asking us how old Shadow is.  When we say she's 9, they ask "months?".  Um  no, she's nine years old.  The GREY on her face is from age.  [8|]  But she's small so they think she's a puppy black lab.  She's got lab in her, but she's no puppy. And people ask me all the time if Tasha is a cattle dog.  I say, "don't know, she's a mutt".  One guy that I said that too, laughed a little, then i said, "yup, an all-around All American" and he laughed harder.
