Hey folks,
I'm sure most of you are experiencing the unusual cold spell right now. I know we are. In South Carolina, it's unusual for it to dip below freezing, let alone THIS FAR below freezing.
Just a reminder, keep an eye on your pets if they're outdoor pets. Our dogs generally spend most of the day outside, enjoying the weather, the passersby and all the wild scents that waft through the neigborhood. However, during this cold snap, they go out for a quick potty break in the morning, come back in until the sun has risen fully, and then stay out for a few hours, come back in, etc. We aren't leaving them out past dusk while the cold spell is working it's way through the area.
I know alot of people HERE already are aware of the concerns with leaving an animal out in extreme temperatures, but I feel it never hurts to remind everyone to be extra cautious. The last thing any of us want is a frozen puppy.
