I never knew dogs, or any other animal for that matter, had any urges to mate outside of its own species. • rwbeagles Posted : 7/12/2007 12:23:26 PM errm. Well... When I was young we had a large black Lab in our neighborhood that would accost any child that was bent over. No lie, tying your shoe? BAM...Looking under a car? BAM...this dog was feared in the neighborhood because of this. We all had clothing on of course so the dog never did more than well, soil the back of your pants and occasionally scratch you with his declaws. It was horrible...talk about irresponsible owner. I'd forgotten or blocked that memory until reading this just now...ugh.   This case? The child must've been nude? I guess my kids have been nude around my dogs...right after a bath...or mid clothing change...but....long enough and isolated enough for THIS? umm...no. Never. Ever.   I do find it suspect...but folks...people leave evidence just as a dog would...and if there is no other human contributor in cells, blood, hair, dna, whatever...only dog. What else can one say?   Certainly...the people involved could have orchestrated the act...and that is a disgusting thought. But I am none too sure that dogs know where to, er, put it with another species. Like yes, humping a leg, air humping, it happens. • rwbeagles Posted : 7/12/2007 12:42:23 PM I want to put this forth...how many of us...even as kids...had dogs in the household that would use stuffed toys, people bent over doing this or that, or our legs or etc and laughed about it?   Many of these incidents piled upon each other within a household, for the benefit of a good laugh by older siblings or etc,...added with the wrong circumstance (ie the boy being unclothed) could lead to this happening. 2y/o spend a lot of time on their knees playing, crawling, just being kids. To me with experience with breeding dogs...things happen quickly...and the scenario is not as far fetched to me as it might be to others...just as stomach turning...but not completely out of the realm of possible.   Dogs know when their mistresses are having their periods...they sniff without fail the genital areas (crotch) of humans upon meeting them many times...just as they would another dog. I don't think they are mystified when it comes to a humans orifices, no. Many are right along with their owners when they are intimate with their human partners, I've seen plenty written about "the dog likes to watch, what do I do?"
