lost bobbi *another aussie, pics added*

I dropped bobbie off at the vets last night to start her heartworm treatment. I checked my voicemail this morning only to hear that bobbie escaped! Their story is that she turned to snap at the dog walker this morning and the girl dropped the leash and bobbie took off. I saw her about noon for a split second before she raced in to the woods. This little girl is so terrified and won't let anyone even see her let alone approach her. She is skin and bones and hw + . I searched aaalllll day, following her tracks in the woods and snow but couldn't find her. I have no clue where she's at am I'm just beside myself with guilt and worry.

Oh my god.. I am soo sorry to hear that!

Is the girl who dropped the leash helping to look? Maybe leave some smelly food out near where you saw her?

Good thoughts and vibes for the safe return of Bobbi.

BOBBI! They're trying to help you!

Oh Julie I am so sorry - what about if you/they put some food out for her?  Do you think Neiko or one of the girls could help track her?  In all seriousness at Thanksgiving a dog got loose from a house about a 1/2 mile from us and was playing with B but when I tried to leash her she took off.  I tried for ages to find her but I was about to give up when I decided to play 'find it' with B with her being it and he did lead me to her.

Saying my prayers for her and you and hope that she turns up soon Crying

OMG how terrible!  I know that she isn't attached to your dogs, Julie, but maybe she is scared enough to try to seek refuge with them.  It might be a good idea to take someone along with you when you are searching.

Sending good vibes for Bobbi's quick return.

Oh no!!  How awful, poor Bobbi.  I'll be praying that someone can find and catch her.

OMG! I'm sorry sorry this has happened. The same thing happened years ago to my best friends dog. They regularily went to the area for 3 or 4 days before they finally spotted her. I might be a little afraid that leaving food might attract other animals which might not be the best thing.   My friend I think did leave food ?, but they also left the dogs blanket and a stuffy. The familiar scent might keep him close.

    Good vibes!!!!!!

We are sending out best wishes for the safe return of Bobbi.

This isn't the first time I've heard of a vets office doing that.

I left several cans of salmon wet cat food out where is saw a bunch of her tracks. I will go back out tomorrow and see if there are any fresh dog tracks. I took my dogs with me today in hopes that she would recognize them. They did follow her tracks but we never saw her.
