I am so, so thrilled both for you and for your friend! I know how tough it's been and you both deserve some success. Believe me, it would have been a privilege to facililtate an American to UK import (twist my arm, I'll enjoy a fuzzy puppy for four months while he gets his shots!). But I'm just deliriously happy that you get to see the whole thing from the ground floor. I feel like an Auntie!

I hope everyone else won't be offended if I say that your congratulations might mean the most to me.  I don't know how to thank you for all the help you've been, but you are henceforth known as Auntie Becca.

LOL I am sorry, Chuffy, but Becca's patience with answering Maremma questions for me has bordered on the saint-like at times.  

 *Squeeee!*  Congratulations!  I know how much you've wanted this, and for so long!  It's got to feel like a dream come true. 

Now comes the hard part...having to wait 4 months for baby Maremma pictures!!!!

Hey I would have been JUST as patient and saintly.  I might not have been any actuial HELP but thats beside the point. 

As much as I'd like to claim sainthood for the privilege of indulging my obsession to blah-blah on one of my favorite subjects - it's really been my pleasure.  I can't wait to see the baby and hear about the fun you will have.  And, I'm very glad that the British Maremma population will benefit as a result of the success of your breeder - Plan B would have been a dead end in that regard.
