Quiet day here, dinnertime is over and we're snuggling on the couch with Ben, all watching TV.  I think I pulled a muscle in my arm when I was painting the other day, it feels stiff and I really noticed it during my yoga routine this morning.  Ouch.

That's called chores! LOL  The only consolation is that you can get your kids to do chores when you have your own!  Of course, it is probably not PC to call them chores anymore or to require them either.

Who cares about being PC?! LOL! I do chores. All the time. Without being asked at that. I get asked to do it about 5 times and then it becomes habit. LOL. I'm a weird teen. XP

I'll trade you for the screwed up tendion in my left fore-arm. Pulled muscles arent to bad, they heal. Tendions aren't an easy fix. I hope you feel better soon thou! *sends healing vibes*

Janet I love the new sig

Bevo you can come here too - Bugsy is pissed today because I didn't have a chance to give him a bike ride or run before I left this morning so he is being a major nuisance.  I just took him with me when I went out for gas and we passed a field of cows LOL you should have seen his eyes ha ha ha definite mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Mom stop and let me out I smell beef!

Lori sorry to hear of Willows platelet levels (yesterday's news) - c'mon Willow you can do it!

    Busy day and another tomorrow

Julie we are in a dither about cable or satellite.  The cable internet is much better than anything else around here and you get a deal if you have internet and tv.  So we haven't gone to Dish or Direct TV because we don't know what to do about internet.  Also the $5 a box will add up as DH is a TV freak so we have a few

LOVE your new siggy!  Maybe you should make a new one for M&M too.....

Anyhoo, don't worry, I don't think you'll be living under a bridge.   I got called to the HR office by my GM this morning.  The whole way there I was telling myself "just don't cry" but to my surprise, I'm still employed!  Yay!

Things are pretty rough in my industry right now.

ha! at least you HAVE a job. working freelance in a reclining economy BLOWS! i have less than half the work i did just 2 months ago. and with things the way they are, i dont know how i'm ever gonna get hired anywhere! *runs of to pull her own hair out*

    in a reclining economy

LOL - is that what they're calling it? Somehow that doesn't sound as dismal as it really is. Don't go pull your hair out though. I was listening to talk radio driving in and the guys were saying "remember all the 'experts' who said we'd never see $4 gas again and it'd be $6 a gallon by Christmas?" So, gas is around $2 a gallon now and the experts were wrong, so hopefully this doom and gloom with the economy can turn around again soon too.

forgot to mention: poor jason has the runs BADLY! in fact he freaked me out (i have never seen him have even SOFT poops!!!) i went to the vet. they ran a fecal. *something* showed... it wasnt parasites, that much i got. the vet said he probably got into some garbage. i can't see when though. he hasnt been off leash in a while, because he is getting a badly needed refresher course in basic manners... oh well. as often mentioned before: thank god for laminate floors. i would have jumped the 10th floor today, if i had carpet... Stick out tongue

Well no work yet. But I did find out that the local SPCA is hiring for P/T Cat people so I'm gonna email them my resume.  And a local coffee shop is hiring. *crosses fingers* Here's hoping!

I did my SS shopping today but my petstore is lacking in selection with the budget we were given. So I hope my partner likes their gifts..Tongue Tied Kinda wish I had a CC so I could order off the net. But then it'd just get me in trouble. Lol.

Janet I know how you feel.  I do freelance stuff and I love it but the way the Michigan economy is right now I cannot quit my full time job.  I'm swamped and have turned people away b/c I'm running out of hours in the day (especially keeping the house AND dealing with three dogs).  It sucks I have to cut back on what I love in order to get the bills paid.

Nikon just bit me really good and I'm bleeding, ouch!  It was totally my fault.  We were doing rag and tug work so he was all worked up in drive.  I get him barking at a rag then let him attack it, then he tugs and I "beat" him on the side with a long, thin, soft tug (to get him used to the beat stick for later).  When he tugs good with a full bite I let it go and he "parades" his rag around the room.  I turned my back, still holding the long tug I used to "beat" him and he snapped that hand from behind trying to get that tug.  Ouch!  Bloody gash on two fingers.

Janet...I love your siggy! I wish I had computer skills like that...LOL! I think the economy might pick back up - most of why stuff got so expensive was gas prices so hopefully with them being lower, other prices will go down. And work can pick back up.

Sam and I only got half our run thru tonight. Mom called and needed me to go to the store with her, and when we got back it was dinner time. Hopefully I can wake myself up at 6am and take him on a nice long jog.

I've been baking cakes and cookies sense dinner and Mom won't let me make any for Sam. Fine, I'll just pick some up when I do my SS shopping this weekend.

OH! I finally got around to cutting Sandy's nails. She was not impressed but didn't fight to much. I think she just didn't like being on her back.  I accidently quicked one of her back nails and didn't notice it until I saw her back paw was bloody..Tongue Tied By that time, the bleeding had stopped and she was none worse the wear. Lol. It's been awhile since I've manually cut a dog's nail so I wasn't surprised when I did quick her. I'm just glad she's got clear nails!

I think she just didn't like being on her back.

Will she stand? Pirate doesn't like that, either, so I have him stand/stay and then kinda bend his foot underneath so I can see the nails. I'm lazy and only do one foot a day, when he needs them.

AND the reason I came to post...I just impulse bought...my Thanksgiving turkey!! Who impulse-buys a turkey, LOL. I wasn't planning on getting one until the weekend, but when I was in the grocery store they had them for $.79/lb and they had the big ones - I need a 25-ish pound turkey - and they usually sell out by the weekend before. Last year I had to have the meat department order me one, so hooray! I'm just hoping we don't have a freak power outage and my freezer goes out.
