Mindless Chatter - Wed

 Kujo has to be crated when we're gone. Otherwise we will step in a puddle of pee first thing. And I dont get it because when we leave we do not stay gone but for a couple hours. I let her out before we leave too. I know she can hold it for a couple hours. She holds it all night long when we go to bed. I really think with Kujo she does it because she gets mad when we dont take her.

Im getting my Irish Setter show male today. Well hopefully that is. She said she was gonna give him a bath and if he was still wet when she got ready to leave she would just leave him. She's coming to do a home visit and bring me the contract she made up just for me. 

It is cold out. The ground is hard. I tried to move the outside door mat but it was stiff as a board. The neighbors have been out hunting in the woods and it is driving Cheyanne banannas. She hates guns. I had to pen her up because she wont stay out from under the house. She done messed up the phone wires already going under there. And if I let her in all she does is whine whine whine. 

We loved Dish network.  They do charge you for the box that lets you pause live TV if you opt for that, but, that's pretty minimal and I thought it was well worth the cost.  Cable stinks.  We had Charter forever, and bleh.

Supposed to have a warming trend today....highs in the mid THIRTIES.  Geeze.  It's still November!  I'm afraid it's gonna be a VERY long winter.

Anyone want to babysit a sweet, charming, somewhat needy dobe for a few days?  Bev is trying very hard to drive me crazy! 

When I woke up this morning, he was nose to nose with me, & his head was on my pillow.  When I opened my eyes, he started smiling at me.  I'm trying to clean the house, & he's shadowing me, even more than normal.  I decided to give him a kong so that I could get some stuff done without him, but now he's decided to carry the kong along from room to room.  I'm going to need a drink soon!

You know that there are about a dozen, if not more, people who would gladly babysit Bevo!! 

It is very nice weather here, 40 this morning but warming up to 78 later today.

I decided to give him a kong so that I could get some stuff done without him, but now he's decided to carry the kong along from room to room.

Awwww, just picturing that makes me smile.

Well, the fog has arrived so the drive in was yucky. Hopefully it won't last or get any worse. I can handle driving in a lot of nasty stuff, but heavy fog is scary.

Some of my in-laws have been mad at each other for the last several months, so I have no idea how Thanksgiving is going to go. My SIL said she'll have it at her house, but I know she won't invite the other SIL and her family. I feel funny going but it'd even be worse to just boycott the whole thing and stay home. They've had spats before but it always ended really quickly. I'm not sure how this one will ever get resolved and it's all really sad.

I was a bad girl and missed a 3 hour class today, because i wanted to sleep in!

It is freezing today. I played chuck-it outside with Kaiser for a little while, and my hands are still cold!

Wyatt ate a bunch of oreos yesterday and has pooped 3x today. No diarrhea though, so that's good!

And Joker wants to know why I didnt walk our full route. Lol. It is too cold for me let alone taking Samantha out there also!! Plus I dont see how he would want to walk with pratically no hair on him. Gotta get him a sweater.

Wyatt oreos are delicious arent they? You didnt forget the milk did you? That's the best way to eat them.

There seems to be a bit of a mystery going on here. . .DH put 2 Andes candies, you know those mints, on my pillow for me to find this morning.  BUT, I only found ONE.  So, I'm searching for the 2nd one. . .hmmmm, I wonder what possibly could of happened to it???

Willow wants to thank everyone who wished her well in the other thread.  We all really appreciate and feel your friendship for her.

Lori, I'm sure that Willow will do exactly what my guys do when something is missing......blame the cat!!! 

I have Bevo's bag packed.  I just opened the front door & showed him which way was northeast.  I told him that his Aunty Megan, & Aunty Lori were waiting on him to visit.  He looked at me like I was nuts, walked back in the house, & curled up on the couch.    At least he isn't under foot at the moment.

Cathy, I hate family arguements!  They make everything so stressful.  It sucks to feel like you are stuck in the middle.  Hopefully, they will work it out soon, so that you don't have to worry with it.

I've been busy working at two different properties the last week or so, catching up at the kitchen table in the evening.  Needless to say, I'm exhausted and looking forward to vacation starting on Friday.

We had a really nice walk this morning with Morrison's girlfriend.  Her name is Rica and she is an 18 mo old Viszla, he has a thing for redheads.  They really do enjoy each other's company and will both be at the daycare for Thanksgiving.  I haven't told him that he gets to have a sleepover with his girlfriend yet.  Mayby they can hold paws during stuffed kong/movie time in the evenings.

There's a dobe in Pirate and I's class, and we always end up next to each other. Last night they introduced 'down' (and Pirate rolls his eyes...) but I was kneeling to work with Pi, and WHAM. Big dobe nose in my face!! I almost fell over. From joy.

Cathy, I'd boycott, LOL. I just am not one for family dramatics - that's why I host turkey day, and whoever wants to come, fine. If you come and can't be pleasant, leave. I rule with an iron fist!

In exciting news, the heating man is on his way! Whoo-hoo, heat!

I agree with Meg! Come south! I can keep him til Christmas when I go down to FL and then pass his to Meg! LOL!

I'm starting on school work - again....I really just wanna go for a bike ride with Sam. I ddin't get to walk him last night, so I feel kinda bad - but he was out of his kennel ALL day.

I've got to give Taz a bath tonight. Ugg. He sticks. He's not even my dog, I'm not being paid, and I still have to bathe him,.....what gives?!

I'll be doing m SS shopping to night, if not then Friday.....I'm gonna check out a few of the smaller shops around town for a better selection then Petsmart.

Cathy - boycott. That was the plain this year for my Moms side of the family. We're going to my Dads family's for Turkey Day because they have slightly less drama...LOL

Ohhh Ohhh Ohhh! I'm going to my Dad's family's for Turkey Day. My Aunt is a Vet Tech. She has to work on Turkey Day. Soooo, guess who gets to go help feed the animals?! I DO! YAY! I haven't been to her Vet's Office in YEARS.....I miss it, even thou nobody will be there but the animals.....

Yeah, we probably should boycott but although I hate family drama, I'm afraid it would cause more.  One of the things I was attracted to when I met DH was his close family. Everyone lives close and at that time, everyone got along great. It's only been in the last couple years that things have gone south. I guess I'll chat with DH this evening and see what he wants to do. If I'm going to cook for us, I need to get my act together this weekend and buy some food.

That's called chores! LOL  The only consolation is that you can get your kids to do chores when you have your own!  Of course, it is probably not PC to call them chores anymore or to require them either.

I had a salesmen come in a little while ago.  Twister and his buddy Ruger are at work everyday and of course people who like dogs always get to talking and interacting with the dogs.  This guy told me he and his wife just got a Great Pyr puppy!  He also shared the info that since it has gotten colder the last few nights his wife wanted to bring the puppy in the house.  He told her the puppy was fine, all that hair, etc.  I just listened because I have spent so much time talking to people about this sort of thing and most of the time I am wasting my breath.  Aargh. 

I was going to go SS shopping today but my car is back in the shop!! Someone jinxed my Ford with all those funny abbreviations.LOL
