    Coupons

I swear my mother is rubbing off on me entirely to much! I'm cliping coupons! AND finding the online steals. Gaa! I'm to young for this! On the plus side - they're all animal realated....LOL

Hey, you're never too young to save some money. Big Smile Even though it can be a real PITA to do all that clipping and sorting, I've been known to lop a good $50 off a grocery tab. The best ones come with the Sunday papers.

I use coupons for EVERYTHING.  My motto is, "If it's not on sale and/or I don't have a coupon for it, I do NOT buy it!"

    • Gold Top Dog

Yupp! My Mom only buys the things she has to buy if it's not on sale/no coupon! She has a little book with tabs to help with the shopping and sorting - and has decided that we're abandoning Wal-Mart for Harris Tetter(sp?) who does 2X coupons everyday. Gotta hand it to the women - she knows how to make a household run on a state-paid workers pay.

I've decided that I'm going to live by that motto too. If it's not on sale or if I don't get a discount, I'm not buying it. Money is too tight these days.

Yesterday, I had a coupon for 20% off my entire purchase (including sales) at JoAnn fabrics. I went there and all of their christmas stuff was 50% off and their Halloween stuff was 90% off! So, I snatched up a couple of halloween decorations and Christmas stuff for SUPER CHEAP. I spent $13 total and got 2 bags worth of stuff.

Now I'm waiting for a good sale on digital cameras so I can replace the one I lost.

My Mom has some-how found a 4G camra/mp3/video player for $60. I am in amazement

I love coupons! With the internet, it's easier than ever to shop for deals. I just bought DH a pair of shoes thru endless.com for 1/2 price, free shipping and no tax. The amazing thing was they ship overnight (for free) and returns are free for 365 days from date of purchase.

endless.com...? I'll have to check that out - I go to the websites( iams.com, ect) and print coupons there. It's easier and a heck of a lot better deal then the sunday paper! I have a $3 off cat food coming my way and a $5 off dog food. It helps alot - especially seeing as the Petsmart is actually cheeper on dog food then the Wal-Mart!

$5 coupon + Perks Card = very happy, more dog/cat-friendly Mom!

Yes, the first time my husband and I really went to the grocery store with a bunch of coupons, and stuck by buying it only if it was on sale or we had a coupon (unless we absolutely needed it) we saved about $50 with coupons and sale items. It really is worth it!

Don't be shocked by some of their prices. Much of what they have is high priced, but the shoes DH wanted were on sale, so it was a good deal. I also hadn't had any luck finding them anywhere else.

We always use the PetCo coupons too. We just used a $5 off coupon and then a week later a 10% off entire purchase coupon. We've got enough dog food to last us quite awhile.

We don't have a PetCo sadly...only Petsmart and a few pet stores, and a Pet Supermarket, they don't have many sales there.

My mom says she gets these coupons from Target where if you order a new scrip you get a $10 gift card.  I can't find such a coupon, so I actually posted a wanted ad on the message board at work, someone is mailing me a coupon tomorrow!

I see those coupons all the time and would've been happy to send it to you. Almost all the drugstores are doing it and I saw an offer for a $15 gift card from our grocery store yesterday. I guess they all assume that if they can grab your business, you'll stay with them, but I wonder if people just keep hopping around.

I'm about to hit up petsmart.com petco.com and petsupermarket.com and **hopefully** get some good deals....

I don't bother with grocery store coupons -- mostly because it seems as though it makes me buy stuff that I normally would NEVER buy, just because I had a coupon for it.  To me, that's not saving money.  Living by myself, I have a very simple grocery list and if/when I deviate from it, it only ends up costing me more money.

I always try to do a search for online coupons whenever I have to buy something online.  If you ever pay full price at 1800petmeds then you need a lesson in googling.  lol  There is always a coupon code to be found for them (any many, many other sites!).
