I just need to vent a little. I know others are going through more than me with their pets. I just feel like someone has put a hex on my pets. Fist is Bubba. He started this with an abscess. We got that taken care of. Once that healed, he got out of the house & I didn't know about it. I haven't finished the crucial part of his kitty yard. Anyway he was out for a few days & got sick with an URI. I'm shortening this story so I don't totally lose y'all. He also had a blood test that showed he's got non-regenerative anemia. The only thing I can do @ this point is to keep him on his diet, hope he gains some weight & just love him to pieces. Not a problem, I can do that.
Now, Maghee got a UTI. I love my new vet. He's very thorough & Maghee loves him. He did a culture of her urine & have her on the right antibiotics. She's on them for a total of 3 weeks. She's also taking probiotics.
Aspen slipped a disk somehow last week. Poor guy. He's on prednisone & milk thistle.
NOW Grady is whining & whimpering when he tries to sit down or move his right shoulder somehow. I've been giving him some enteric aspirin & it's not really working. We're off to the vet tomorrow.
If anyone has any spare "healthy" vibes, please send them this way. The dogs are getting impatient with me @ meal times. Each dog gets different drugs in pill pockets in their kibble. It's a slow process. I know that Aspen, Mr. ravenous prednisone boy, is gonna take a bite out of my calf soon.
