Mindless Chatter- Weekend

Deer burgers and anchovy!! Mmmm... I know the second is cat food ~lol~ but I'm hungry!!

Yesterday we celebrate our three months in Canada having dinner on a very cute and delicious restaurant. I had Artichoke Pasta mmmm... and DH Rissotto stuffed squash mmmm... It was amazing!!

DH is working today and tomorrow so I'm here working too. I should stand up and make my lunch though...

 Today I took Sandy to the agility field to let her run around and get used to the smells. She had a blast is and is now sleeping on Maze's butt.. (A rare sight.. Lol)

I'm quitting my job today.. I can't stand it and I've only been there a week.. They're not letting me do my job, I'm not getting the training I need to do said job and I've just had enough.. I've tried talking to the manager but that went far.. *snort*.. 

*sigh* Time to make a phone call....

I'm sick, and it sucks.

 I can't sleep, because I can't breathe. I'm exhausted - stressed to the max. I feel like my life is going no where..............gah. And it's starting to feel like no one cares for anyone else, but themselves....

oranges - you'll get another job, and a better one too! Oh - BTW, I tryed your dog cookies, I tweaked it some. I used canned dog food instead of the spices - Sam looooooooove's 'em! I think I'm gonna fool around with seasonings and flavors. Thanks for a good, easy to use base!

As said above - I just finished dog cookies! Woo! I had Sam in the house and **calm** for 3 hours! Woo again! He was being a vulture and hoping that I'd drop the bowl! Silly dog. He did get some uncooked bits - and then more cooked ones! =]]

Anywho - I wish I knew my Secret Santa person already! I'm going to a craft fair tomarrow and I'd loooooove to pick up something really cute there. Hmmm....I might just do it and hope that my SS will like it!

Today I went to my friend's house after I took Brownie for a walk around the block, took Cuddles for a 30 min bike run and played with Possum. Lucky me that my friend wanted me to come over to help look after the doggies they were babysitting. No pics sorry:((

Well they have 3 dogs already that they own. The yellow lab Sunny, the Dachsund Rocky, and the Teacup Chi Diddy.

Then their aunt dropped off her 3 Chis. Brother and sister named Jack and Jill and Diddy's brother Pete(y). It was so much fun:))) 

Erica, everyone feels like their life is going nowhere from time to time.  Don't get discouraged, things will improve!

I am getting sick.  This morning it was just a little sore throat.  Now, I've got a terribly sore throat, a cough, & the sniffles.  I probably should have took it easy today, but I didn't.  Bev & I went to Starbucks this morning.  He has learned to sit up on his butt from Schatzi.  She sits up on her butt with her front feet off the ground, when she wants someone to pick her up.  It works like a charm for her, because she's just too cute to ignore.  Bev, otoh, looks mental when he sits on his butt.  I really didn't find it too endearing that he was sitting up, with a silly grin on his face, staring at my cinnamon roll.

DH, Bev, & I went to a carnival this afternoon.  We played games, & let Bev visit with all of the kids there.  DH won me a teddy bear, that Bev swiped from my hand.  He looked so disappointed when I told him to drop it.  I ended up giving it to him, when we put him back into the jeep so that we could ride the ferris wheel. 

DH is going to be out of town all week.  I hate it when he's out of town.  At least I have the rest of the weekend to snuggle with him.

I love that base! I'm adding salmon and tuna to my cookies next time I make them. It's always fun to tweak the recipe to make it yours. Glad Sam liked them. I warned you that they're addictive to dogs. Now in thanks I demand a picture of Sam enjoying his cookie. Lol

Hehe, Ok! I added 3/4 a can of dog food to it, and garlic powder. He love's 'em! I'm going to make some with peppermint oil, and then possibly some honey and cinamin to another. I don't know - I love to bake thou, so that base will get plenty of use! I'll get some pictures of him chowin' down on the bone-shaped ones I made, the others are drops about the size of a dime to a penny. He does his tricks for those!

 The garlic will help with fleas. I know it's an old wives tale but since I've added garlic to Maze's diet, I haven't bought flea meds in over a year. I haven't seen a single flea on her either and my roommate's dog got infested this past summer. Ya never know.

And Sandy has found her voice!! LMAO!! It's sooo little and cute. And she doesn't abuse the ability to bark. For now...

I've got garlic pills - I just forget to give them out! LOL!

 Her growl is soo cute!! High pitched and makes Maze look at her funny..

OMG!!! Puppy growls!! Eeeep! I looove puppy growls. When my BC's had a litter of 9, I was in heaven with all the puppy barks, growls, not to mention puupy breath/sent!!

I love Bevo :) I wish we had more dobes like him around here - We have 3 in my obedience class and 2 are fat tick dogs. The 3rd is a red puppy, who is so stinkin' cute, but barks his fool head off the entire class, and wants to chomp all the little dogs, LOL.

I forgot to ask everyone to keep their fingers crossed - BF had an interview last Monday for an assistant to a family court judge. It's a county position...with a SALRAY. A good enough salary that I'd only have to work part-time. Since BF wants to go to law school next year, it'd be a perfect job! So...fingers crossed please?

I am off today, whoo-hoo! Gotta make dog food.

I was awake until 3am, then I woke up at 9:30 and took a shower. I feel crapy - lack of sleep and cramps. Hopefully the painkiller I took will kick in soon. I'm going to the Holly Day Fair soon, hopefully I'll get some good stuff!
