This came from Aussie Canine Underground Railroad today, and I put it here so that it would get some quick exposure. The dog has been missing for two days. Anyone in NC in that area, please check out the photo and keep an eye out. Aussies sometimes don't do well when they get lost, as they often aren't a dog that just goes up to strangers...
Thanks
I need your help getting the word out about a missing aussie in
Brevard, NC. Spirit is a 7 year old spayed blue merle female (with tan
and white markings and one blue eye and one brown eye) that got loose
off of Osbourne Rd. in Brevard this past Saturday (6/23/07) evening.
She is tattooed and has a HomeAgain microchip. You can see pictures
of her at [link
http://www.angelfire.com/md/Thornbrook/Spirit.html.]http://www.angelfire.com/md/Thornbrook/Spirit.html.[/link] She is
friendly, even more so with food, so approaching her should not be a
problem if you see her. Please notify my dad, Robert Speight at
410-456-6658 (cell) or 828-883-8010 (local phone) if anyone has seen
Spirit. We have put out fliers, notified all local vets, animal
control, etc. we could think of, as well as the AKC Companion Animal
Recovery network and aussie rescue.
Permission to cross-post granted!
Thanks for your time!
