DISCLAIMER: I know some here LIKE my wee Mantis girl....and some don't so be warned these pictures are IMO extremely cool...but they are of a BUG...a large BUG, upon my actual human HAND so if that might bother you...please do not look...Zorak gets sad when people say mean things about her...okay?

Some of these pics are noisy...my apologies..I was having so much fun with Zorak I don't care about settings LOL. She is wet because I misted her a bit...

Now...ONTO THE SHOW!!

Yes actually. She will do almost ANYTHING for a tasty butterfly, and I use that to my advantage LOL. I couldn't get her to wear a costume for halloween tho lol..so even NILIF has limits!

Wicked! I had a itty bitty baby brown mantis for a few days....Mom made me take it outside when she found out..

Zorak said she saw a pretty mantis like that once outside...but it was smaller than her and she was hungry so she ate it..LOL.

Just last week there was a beautiful and very large Mantis at the office. I was so afraid someone was going to step on him.....I moved him to the bushes I hope he made it. I think they are wonderful! I love the Zorak pics.....she is almost as animated as Cleo....how do you get your pet to be so expresive, lol. Do you have a helmet cam???? LOL

LOL...nope that is an interesting idea tho LOL. I don't know really...Zorak is animated indeed..she is watchful, alert, intelligent in a bug like fashion...and seems to like me, or at least find me interesting enough not to bite LOL.

I am hand feeding her now and it's amazing how dextrous and efficient her "grabbers" are...I am glad to have extended her natural lifespan a bit...and I hope she continues to thrive a bit longer.
