Can you believe the holiday season is already here????

I know, I can't believe it!!  It's crazy.  I was at wal-mart yesterday and they have eveything out already. 

BTW - I will be with you on black Friday.  We hit the stores at 5:00 am. 

Ok, 2 weeks ago me and Jeremy went to Lowe's and they had all their Christmas stuff out already!! That's crazy early!!

I love the holidays though. There's a radio station here, and the day after Thanksgiving all they play is holiday music 24/7 until Christmas...yah, I love it, lol. Me and my Mom will be out on Black Friday. We go almost every year.

The station here already started this morning.  I love Christmas and the music, but it is just a little bit early.  By the time Christmas comes around you get sick of it.

I am actually this year doing something kinda big in the front yard Decor wise. I am excited about it...never done lights or anything too major! WHEE!

I'm excited about T-Giving...FOOD! And Xmas both.

I love this time of year too.  Black Friday isn't my thing, though I'll probably be working anyway (I work Thanksgiving Day and Christmas day too, but only for about 4 hours). 

My husband and I are having family to our house this year (our first big holiday at our house) so I'm kind of freaking out about having to have the house looking nice.  We'll have DH's sister from Philly, my mom and youngest sis and my other sis her BF and her newborn twins (they'll be practically brand new come Thanksgiving).  So I am pretty darn excited about this year.

I will definitely be out shopping on Black Friday!  I've already finished shopping for everyone except DH, but I'm still going.

We are doing Thanksgiving at home this year.  I've hosted Thanksgiving before, but I usually have it catered.  This year DH & I are going to actually cook the meal ourselves.  I'm a little nervous....

Don't worry Amanda - Turkey day is easy.  Take turkey, thaw it, take everything out if it's butt, throw it in a pan, rub it with butter, salt and pepper it, put it in the oven and turn it on.  If you want to make it easier, get one of those thermometers that tells you when it is done so you don't have to keep checking it.  They are pretty cool.

I looooooooove the holidays! Thanksgiving is awsome - I eat myself sick on the stuffing. Black friday is a no-go for me, I'd be one of the people being hauled off for fighting LOL. I do get to go to the Holi-Day Fair this weekend! Woo! It's basicly a craft fair/wine tasting - it's wear I got Sam's adorable leash last year....it says 'One of Us is a Good Kisser'

I can believe it's here already because I'm constantly reminded of it's looming presence.  I work in the logistics department of a major home decor store and Xmas is huge for us.  Merchandise starts moving around the end of July in order to get it overseas and to our stores in time for the Christmas push.  It's fun to see what will be arriving in the stores long before anyone else does.  And even though Christmas arrives 'early' for us, I still look forward to shopping and seeing the sights this time of year.  There's a special feeling - very much tied to home and family - that no amount of commericalism can change.  Now go out and buy lots of stuff!!

I'm glad that it's that time of year again - it always gives me a sense of joy and new possibilities.

I already know what I am getting everyone and started scoping out different places for the best prices! Although haven't purchased a whole lot - i know what I am getting everyone which makes it much easier....

As far as where Christmas will be this year..... looks like my home! My families homes are still being remodled due to the flood so I will be hostess this year.... We already decided no big dinners... I certainly don't have all the wonderful pots and pans to make a huge dinner and all my families things were ruined.... SOOOOOO! We will be doing finger foods, and presents and enjoying each others company....

We only do for immediate family.... Mom, Dad, Sister, DH, and Grandma and Grandpa and OF COURSE i spoil my nephew!!!!!!! As far as cousins and all that goes... My grandparents give us presents and thats it.  We don't do the exchange of everyone...

Actually, the best sales here fall on the weekend before Thanksgiving.  You might want to check out the stores then, too.
