The weirdest thing happened at my mom's on Friday. We got there and there was this purple creature roaming around.

She loves apples, so after about 5000 M&M's we switched over to an apple.

The night was perfect is was high 60's and crisp and clear. Charlie wanted nothing to do with his costume, so he just tagged along on the sidewalk with DH. We ended up going to about 10 houses. After our rounds we hung out on my parent's front porch since Charlie is less barky if he greets people outside vs. running to the door everytime it rang. It was a great time!

Thanks everyone. I was a little disappointed that the costume was too short in the legs. I bought it this summer on Craig's List and it was too big. I put it on her on Friday and it was like someone had stretched her legs...forgot to put that brick on her head!!

Both actually. Thanks for noticing. My hair is naturally really really curly (tried to straighten it on Friday, but it was humid) and used to be really long (middle of back) and because I was lazy I just always wore in up in a bun or something. I got 6 inches cut off about a month ago. What I did learn is that even though it is short, I still put it up Wink

My favorite trick or treaters are the ones that are about Riley's age. Sadly, I had way more older kids than the little ones and some were pretty obnoxious. DH always says "you don't have to give them a whole handful of candy". Ha! He's not the one with the big kid staring at you and watching exactly how much you drop in their bag.

LOL! Yeah. My mom buys the biggest fruit. I buy the smaller lunch size. You should have seen Riley's eyes when we handed it to her, she was like "I hit the apple jackpot!!!" It took her almost an hour to eat it...in the end Charlie stepped up helped her out.
