Peeing in the Snow

• Peeing in the Snow Mechanical Angel Posted : 11/2/2008 12:08:22 PM My dogs Cuddles and Possum absolutely HATE peeing in the snow. They give me these pained expressions like it really hurts for them to squat in it. Well what can I do about that?? Pee pads inside are NOT a possibility. Also Cuddles sometimes gets ice chrystals in her paws so I guess I'm saying how do I prevent this?? And if anyone has fun stuff to with your doggies in the winter inside or outisde PLEASE share them. • jennie_c_d Posted : 11/2/2008 4:36:23 PM  Isn't Cuddles a Cocker? Keeping her feet trimmed nice and short would probably be helpful, if you aren't, already. If that doesn't work, doggy shoes will definitely help.   Peeing in the snow... just act like it's not a big deal. They have to do it, so no reason to make a fuss about it.    I do lots of training and trips to pet stores and such when the weather doesn't permit us to play outside.
