got a job (ridgeback)

I know i haven't been around much lately, but i wanted to pop in and give a quick update! I got a job in the level 3 neonatal ICU @ UK! I haven't graduated yet, so i wont start until jan. I also bought an '09 toyota corolla too, for those who have been keeping up with my car search. I love it!!

Great News! That is Two Great things to have happen and to be able to share Thanks ! Hope to hear about some of your Adventures in nursing in the future. That was an amazing time in my life I am sure you will find it to be the same! And the car is a really great choice!!

I can't believe they hired me on the spot...i heard they made another girl from my class who got a job there as well, wait a whole week. I also get an extra $7 an hour to work 7pm=7am on the weekends, so i'm going to sign up for that as much as i can! We took a tour of the NICU yesterday and there was a baby born @ 26 weeks and she weighed 1 lb 2 oz!!!! I'm so excited, thank you all so much for the support!

Excellent news. It sounds like you've got what it takes. A job that you want, which inspires you. And a new set of wheels to make sure you can get to work and back. I've determined that I am only going to hold onto a car long enough to pay it off so that I can trade in with good value. Sure, there are payments but the comfort and security of something new and not likely to go wrong is great and there are no late or missed days due to car mishaps.

You probably get awful busy from now on so we'll be looking for you when can make it in here.
