    Best coats for boy dogs?

Okay, guys, it's that time of year again...

Rascal has a problem with many dog coats in that when he has to "relieve himself," he ends up... erm... well, let's just say that the coat interferes with the natural course of things and tends to get soiled. (Most sweatery coaty things have a band that goes around the middle, and that's the typical problem.)

Anyone have recommendations for nice warm, washable dog coats that will stay on but allow enough room for natural activities? I would love a coat that I didn't have to wash after every bathroom trip!

Cita I just got this one in the mail today and it is awesome - now Bugsy has never had a problem of soiling a coat but there is certainly nothing that could get in the way - for him- on this one

That place has a lot of coats/sweaters at nice prices

I've heard great things about the K9 Overcoat for boys as well.  No direct experiences since I have girls, but I have seen the reviews online.

I got one for Casey last year at Walmart - it was more of a sweater type, that doesn't go low enough to 'interfear'. It keeps him warm - although it doesn't get AS cold over here.

     Great, thanks guys!!

It's not quite cold enough for coats *yet,* but once it drops below about 20*, the poor little guy needs something to keep him warm. (You know, so he can putter about and stall comfortably for 15 minutes before pooping, while I freeze to death! Stick out tongue)

My dogs are funny. They're the same length, but my gosh, they're different sizes! Teenie was right in the same length, too. She was a totally different shape from Emma and Ena. I've had the best luck with just having things made. I looooove everything I've gotten from Sighthound Specialties. I've got stuff from her that's been worn for years, and it shows some wear, but it's like.... favorite pajamas wear. They're cozy and loved. They've held up really well to LOTS of washes. Teenie wore t shirts from her, when it was warm, and fleeces, when it was cold (short doxie legs, big chest issues, and allergic to grass, poor girl!). Ena wears her t shirts a lot, to keep her skin clean, and loves her rainbow fleece. Emma hates clothes, but she wears fleeces when it's cold.

Yes, it's coat season again.  I have the toughest time finding coats that fit properly for my two.  Everything I try on them is too short length-wise, and if I get a bigger size then it is too big around.
