Becca, if I haven't said it already, I'll be thinking about you.  Post when you can!  I'll look forward to having our cheerleader back, it won't be the same without you!

I had to have both of my kids via c-section, but when I needed a hysterectomy a couple of years ago, the doctor was able to do it vaginally.  I had the post-anesthesia ickiness for the first 12-24 hours following surgery, but after that I felt fine!  My mother and MIL, who had the same surgery decades ago, were amazed.  They were prepared to cook and clean for me for weeks, and ended up bringing us supper a couple of nights and then I was perfectly able to do all the basic stuff.  I hope you fare as well as I did.  Truly, the hardest part for me after that first 12-24 hours was remembering that I'd had surgery and was supposed to take it easy.

Thanks so much!  That's what I'd heard, that it's actually hard to  keep from doing stuff.  But, it will be wonderful to even do what I'll be allowed to do after the suregery!  I just folded five baskets of laundry WITH the kids help, sitting in BED, and now I'm miserable.  WITH vicoprofen (or whattever it's called) on baord.

I don't know why it's all been so much worse since my last surgery, but I'm ready for it to be GONE!

Some cheerleader, huh?  Yes, I had to drop out of that for a bit - I can't even look at SP or that thread either one I'm so nauseated all the time.  If I could move at all I'd be losing weight like crazy!  But I'm retaining fluid too - some because of the restricted actitivy, some because all I seem to be able to keep down is salty soups and crackers.

My doctor suggested trying a high dose of plain ibuprofen instead since it's for a limited time, and I'll try that tongiht.  Cross your fingers - I'd sure like to get off this nasty med.  :-/

I kept thinking that 'gyn' was 'GYM' - and I couldn't figure out what a hysterectomy had to do with the gym? And why you were going to the gym, if you weren't feeling well??

Anywhoo, I hope you are feeling better, ASAP!
