Obama plot, is this for real?

That is terrifying!  Sounds like my friend's prediction is coming true - that if Obama wins there will be assassination attempts.  Makes me sad that he would think of such things but I guess he is tapped into something I don't think about.  I feel for Obama's family at times like this.  He is a great man, whether he's black, white or freakin green!

From what I understand, law enforcement agents are quite concerned about the evening of Nov. 4th, especially in large cities. If Obama loses, they'll be riots, if he wins, they'll be celebrations. I'm glad I don't live in a big city.

Hateful nutbags with delusions of grandeur.  Unfortunately, there's many more out there just like them.  I've said it before and I'll say it again, if he gets elected, he's going to need a PopeMobile, which really is sad.  Yes, we should SO be beyond this, but sadly we're not.  There are still people who care way too much about the color of skin, sexual orientation, and religious denomination and are willing to kill because of it.  ~sigh~ 

This is madness. I can honestly say that I personaly would not vote Obama, I'm a McCain supporter. But, even thou I do not care for the man, that is sickening. How can people actually want to kill someone?

Our country should be past this issue by now, we sadly are not.

What is even more disturbing is that combined with the racism and hatred, they were plotting to go after children as well. They were targeting a predominantly black school, and stated that their killing spree would end with Obama. How horrifying.

I feel really naive when it comes to this kind of thing. My friend also predicted that there will be problems but I just thought she was being dramatic. I hope this is an isolated incident or at least not one of many to come.

Sadly, there are a lot more out there where these two nutjobs came from.  The article on the comcast home page said they had planned to kill 88 black people, a significant number by beheading. I can only hope they put these two away and toss the key.

Another co-worker of mine has said that he would not have been surprised if a white supremacist tried to take Obama out, simply because of skin color. Not only is wrong to kill someone, in general, but because of skin color, Obama's heritage is more arab and american than any other ethnic influence. I, too, feel for his family and I think the domestic terrorists who tried this should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. But then, I think all terrorists, including domestic ones should be dealt with, either as enemies of the state or as a criminal but I don't always get my wish.

 While yes, this sounds scary... it also sounds like it probably wasn't as dire as all that. There were only 2 guys planning to kill over 100 people? Sounds like a poorly-thought-out plan, and probably (hopefully?) in very little risk of being carried out successfully.

I'm sure Obama and the Secret Service are doing everything in their power to keep him safe, and have been since he first announced his run for the Presidency.

Tell me about it!  I work in the city of Detroit...just glad that I'm off on election day and planned on taking the following day off too!  Regardless of who wins, I am definitely concerned.
