Agathon Kennel Club November Dog Shows and CERF Eye Clinic

Calling all dog fanciers!!!Want to see over 100 breeds of dogs at one location? Then join us for the Agathon Kennel Club's Saturday, November 22nd, and Sunday, November 23rd, all breed dog shows.  Location: Summit County Fairgrounds, 205 East Howe Road, Tallmadge, Ohio.  In the Arena Complex on the Fairgrounds.  Use the Entrance off of North Avenue, aka Route 91, just 1/4 mile north of the Howe Road and North Avenue intersection. 

 

Last year, 937 entries in 122 different breeds and varieties competed for Best in Show honors at our Saturday show. We are expecting even more at our pre-Thanksgiving week-end shows this year. 

 

If you are considering bringing a new canine companion into your home but don’t know what breed is best suited for your life style, you will have the opportunity to meet and talk to breeders from many areas of the country that attend our shows. 

 

We will also have a variety of vendors available with ‘Holiday Gift’ ideas for your favorite canine! 

 

A 'C.E.R.F' (Canine Eye Registration Foundation) Eye Clinic will besponsored on Saturday November 22nd from 10:00 AM until the close of Saturday’s show. If you own a breed of dog that has genetic eye disorders, bring your dog along to have him (or her) tested at our show. No appointment necessary. Bring your AKC registration and any permanent ID (micro chip, tattoo, etc) information to include on his CERF forms. The fee will be $30.00 per dog. Dr Terah Webb, DVM, from Worthington, Ohio, will be our ClinicVeterinarian.  The CERF Clinic is for dogs of all ages, but it is highly recommended that puppies under 6 months of age be totally vaccinated before exposing them to a dog show environment.  

 

Show hours will be 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM.There will be a $4.00 per car parking fee at the gate.
