What keeps me going...

    What keeps me going...

What would I do without my little boy? I'd probably be in pieces right now.  He has made me a stronger person and he lights my life every day, even when everything seems so black I feel like a black cat in a black cellar, at midnight, with its eyes closed.  This is a THANK YOU to my little lad...

That shirt says it all -- 50% Mummy, 50% Daddy and 100% WILLIAM!!

And the fact that you appreciate him makes you both that much more rich!

I admire you!! I think your William is your anchor to hold in this ruff time, and what a cute anchor he is!! His smile lights the room, even through the computer!!

I love that last picture!! I can totally understand how he is helping you thru this time. For one - he needs you and knowing that will keep you strong. He's also such a beautiful and joyful young boy that I can't imagine any darkness lasting for long with him around. Hugs to you and Will Big Smile

He is way too cute. But, i have to admit i would hate to be the person to clean up after dinner ;)

Chuffy, I totally understand how you feel.  Kale was with me when I lost my best friend to cancer a few years ago and his indifference, while not being uncaring was very comforting.  He didn't understand, and yet he still needed me to take care of him.  It just let me know that life goes on.

Its easy when dinner is right before bath time.  Whether Kali gets a bath at night or not is often determined by what we have for dinner.

I think children help us feel connected to something bigger and more important than ourselves. Whether that is the continuation of the species or that this child's life is so important as to make our other concerns miniscule, I'm not sure. Maybe both. At least that's how we'll feel until the teen years.

It's amazing that little ones can keep you going, isn't it?
