As some of you know, this location is a piece of heaven and we've been very privileged and blessed to live here the last three years. But, we do not own it and our landlord is extremely adamant that he will never consider selling.
So we were very excited when we got a chance to arrange a lease option on a small nearby property! It's really, really starting from scratch compared to the "plug and play farm" we have here, but I'm ready to do that now. And it's going to be half the rent that we pay here. AND there are many chances for the future, from possible lease or purchase of surrounding land, to clearing our own, to expanding and renovating the lovely old farmhouse there. I'm very excited!

Trampoline and dog don't come with it, though they are both on the property - they are owned by our closest church friends, who will be our new next door neighbors! Our kids and their kids are all best friends, and we both home school, so it's going to be really cool for them.

We'll still have a pond - small, hidden, and someday I hope, pretty. I'm calling it Jewel Pond. I'm going with the vision here.
One of the first things I want to do is get the sheep up there to push back the undergrowth and vining stuff. Then it really will be nice.

The NC summer get together is still ON. It's should be even nicer, in fact. The grounds are very gracious and we'll have the whole thing fenced off by then.
