Casey Anthony finally charged, thoughts?

The book was alright, Not worth buying but to get it at the library, it was an ok read. He really went into what was going on in the marriage more than anything.

Andrea Yates is one of the only mothers who have killed their children that I feel had a real problem. She didn't seem to do it out of spite or to be free, she actually had a mental illness.

I feel sad for all concerned and if the mother is guilty, she should pay the penalty.

I get a bit irked that anyone can have a child and then do this. Meanwhile, people like one of my supervisors, Robert, can jump through 9 hoops, home investigations, works hard every day, is a stable and loving father-type, and the state is still dragging the heels on his adoption case. And my friends, Tom and Jeanne, went throught 3 years of "jump" and "how high?" before being able to adopt. Tom had to cash in part of his retirement fund to hire an attorney for that.

Yet, someone can go out to a party, have a few drinks, get pregnant and that's okay, even if they dispose of their kid later like last year's fashions.
