    Lost Pet Recovery tags ?

I am looking for tags, and came across those. I guess they work more like a chip, they only list an operator number and pet id. Anyone use those? any thoughts?    [linkhttp://www.pettags.com/products.aspx?CategoryID=23]http://www.pettags.com/products.aspx?CategoryID=23[/link]

Intersting. I would imagine it can be a added safeguard to regular ID tags, without the concerns some folks have about showing their personal phone number/address.

I prefer to go microchip and tags, as tags can fall off or collars slipped. A microchip just seemed to be the best "coverage" for me.

Jasmine has a microchip, a tag with her address and phone number on it, her county license and her rabies tag, in addition to the microchip tag!  LOL!

add to that the rescue's tag and dog park tag here. I am surprised he can lift his head with all the tags mine has on his collar[:D]

    Sure makes a racket!

They can't be MORE effective than a microchip because they can be removed, but they sure are cute.  I ordered the tie-dye one for Max the day before I brought him home and now it's added to the rabies tag, the county registration tag, the SPCA identification tag and the *Home Again* microchip tag.  With all that ID, I should be able to get a credit card for him.[:D]
