Amanda, I am just seeing this.  Every good thought is going out to you, Bevo, and DH.  Things will get better, they just have to.  Snuggles and beagle butt wiggles from Charlie!

 Oh gosh, I'm so sorry. Best wishes to you all for quick diagnoses and a speedy recovery. (Bevo, dude, just tell them what's wrong!! If you can, that's worth approximately 1 zillion steaks!)

How frustrating to not know what's going on.  ((((hugs)))) and good vibes for you, Bevo, and your DH!

Perhaps it's something like a pinched nerve?  Something you can't see, but can cause a ton of pain, etc.

If it were me, I'd be looking into acupuncture, chiro (if it's safe for a Wobblers dog), maybe even some of the magnetic and pulse type therapies they use for horses.

No ideas here too... but we are all thinking about you, your family and Bevo... I really hope is a very simple thing though. You have been so worried, I really want this to end soon. ((hugs))

 I'm sorry they can't find what's wrong   In the meantime, could you at least treat his pain with acupuncture or similar?

I'm late seeing this, but I'm sending lots of best wishes and good vibes for Bevo (and for you).  It's so frustrating not to have a clear diagnosis, whether it involves a person or a dog.  But it's worse for an animal, because they can't tell you more about where it hurts, what kind of pain it is, what triggers it, etc. And we can't explain to them why we haven't done something that makes them feel better yet, why they have to have all these tests and procedures that may be uncomfortable or downright painful.

I hope you get some answers soon.  Hang in there handsome guy -- they'll get to the bottom of it soon!

Oh Bevo, I thought you would be home recuperating by now from your knee repair.

 I don't suppose sticking a teddy on his head will help at all will it?   Darn.  I never think of him anymore, but I think of that teddy on his head and him laughing handsome head off....

BEVOLASVEGAS

I am so frustrated, and I have no clue where to go from here.  Every time he seems to be doing well, something goes wrong.  I am almost to the point of giving up, so if anyone has any ideas, no matter what they may be, please throw them out there for me.  I am willing to try to explore pretty much any idea.

This is where I'd switch to something completely different.  A *good* holistic vet will give an entirely different type of exam -- and I'd think acupuncture could help tons.  I know with my own idiosyncrasies I've left regular doctors and x-rays in my wake totally confused -- I go to my acupuncturist, describe a few words and she'll put her finger on a spot that will literally buckle my knees and say 'There?' --

http://www.tcvm.com -- that locator has helped tons of folks and I *know* you have some good TCVM vets in your area now (didn't used to be, but there are NOW).  Sometimes all the pictures in the world aren't worth what well-trained hands of a different sort may find.

Bev is home with us.  I picked him up earlier today.  He's bandaged, for now. The bandage makes it very difficult for him to get up & down, so DH & I have been lifting him, & laying him over.  He has been extremely tolerant of DH & I maneuvering him around, & lifting him when needed.  (He usually lets me do what I want, but he does not usually give DH the same courtesy.)  He's on both rimadyl, & tramadol, and he isn't acting painful, which makes me very happy. 

We did stop in at our normal vet on the way home today, & had one of the techs come out to the vehicle to draw blood on him.  We are having it sent off to do a tick screen, just in case this is something simple like lymes, or rocky mountain spotted fever. 

Chuffy, when we got him home,  as we were taking him to his bed, he picked up his teddy & took it to bed with him.  He layed there for about 40 minutes squeeking it for all it was worth.  Then the squeeker died.   He was so disappointed.

Callie, he is going for acupuncture & a evaluation tomorrow.
