 Thats sick! That kid definitely has some issues. And where the heck were the parents?!

7!?!?! OMG!!!! Where were his parents??? When I was 7 my parents didn't let me out of their site! The child obviously has some serious mental issues.....serial killer in the making.......

His parents were probably home...strung out on meth or booze or pot or prescription drugs or any comination thereof.

Wow. Ouch. That poor child is pretty disturbed, mentally. It is scary and sad at the same time.

Exactly what I was thinking Callie.  Disturbing.

 I hope someone is investigating this poor boys parents.  He is probably being abused by SOMEBODY himself.  That is not normal behaviour.  The kid needs help and intervention.... this is not just about blame; the kid needs protection and counselling.

I think we're all thinking that Chuffy -- heaven knows in the States we've had enough serial killers and they tend to develop as children and tend to develop from killing small things.  Almost always abused themselves as children -- but to be so warped as a small child - already seeking that kind of "fun" and being unsupervised to carry it out.  I think people jumped way beyong blaming the boy to blaming the parents who should have been with him.

This is one of those places where culturally we may express it differently but are no less horrified.

 I was reacting to the article itself, which said that they wanted the parents to take responsibility/blame for what the child did.  Also some of the comments left below the article made me very sad.  Here they are saying such things about the poor boy, but he is a product of THAT kind of society.... total lack of compassion and empathy.  Very sad.

It would be interesting to find out if the boy has ever had a brain injury. In a documentary I watched on serial killers, not only did the have an abusive or harsh upbringing but they usually suffered a head injury before puberty. It is thought that these combinations lead to a a sociopathic condition.
