We finally got rain!! YAY!!

We haven't had any rain since May, today it's been sprinkling, its sooooo nice!! Such a good feeling from our cooking summer heat. But the only bad thing is California drivers dont know how to slow down when its wet! LOL. I looked at the traffic incident report & theres stuff poppin up all over since it started raining ( sprinkling) - people spinning out & rolling their cars over!

but wanted to share how nice it is to get some moisture!! Makes me want to go plant some carrots.

You think they're bad in the rain ... you should see them in the fog. Zipping down I-80 or I-5 at 75/80 m.p.h. with about 50 ft. of visibility. Still, it's nice to finally see a few drops even if it hasn't been enough to really make a puddle in the patio. The first rain is always a bad one in terms of accidents because it isn't hard enough to wash away the oil slicks ... it just makes them a bit wetter and slicker.

Man - isn't that the truth. I dread when the fog rolls in. I'm super happy about this change in weather though. I love summer but it'll be nice to cool down for awhile. If I put away all my summer clothes, we'll surely have another heat wave though Big Smile

it is refreshing though.

I had to drive a particluar truck @ work today & it scares me - it has super stiff suspension & tires that are horrible on wet surfaces - that combined with the first rain - EEK!!

Ya the fog scares me, I remember a couple years ago we had alot of fog, it's nerve racking!
