that is a pretty funny sticker!  The shop where I get B's food has some cute T shirts one says stop littering - spay neuter.  Only comes in teeny sizes and the beast refuses to wear clothes but I do wish he could wear one

BTW I haven't given him any Benadryl since Wednesday night.  He isn't itching much and his skin looks OK but he is kind of restless.  I hate giving it to him all the time so am hopeful we can stay off for a bit

Karen I hope Bugsy feels better!

I'm have a GREAT day despite being exhausted.  I haven't had such a good day in a looong time.

Tonight we have company coming over with their male husky (same age as Ari) for a play date!  My bestest friend is coming up tonight as well and staying the weekend.  YAAAAY!

AND I just found out that a local library is having a MASSIVE used book sale and said friend and I are both book addicts!!!

So my trainer finally called back and I'm going to spend the day tomorrow in the rain, playing with dogs! my heaven! Lol.

Today wasn't to bad. My game and Alex's DVD's finally came in so I spent the day playing video games instead of doing dishes.. Whoops. Lol

That's a bit harsh but it does have a funny ring to it.

I watched some of the debate and I thought Palin handled herself well. Biden drew first blood, right out of the gate, but I guess that's the nature of debate. Does anyone actually "win" a VP debate? They both made good points. I like the fact that Palin is talking to the people, rather than the mod.

Anyway, the second half of it was with the sound turned down as I was talking with DW. Her daughter's adoptive mother is not doing too well. She had a kidney transplant 9 years ago. Now, the kidneys are failing and so is her heart and she may not be long for this world. In fact, after seeing her grandbaby, adoptive mother went downhill rather fast and has been incoherent much of the time. DW can't just take a week or so off from work and fly to the Northeast to be there. There's a lifetime of emotion invested in this that would take a whole 'nother thread. This coupled with the fact that her daughter, hubby, and baby can't make it down here for the family reunion this month has also added stress. It's a scheduling thing. We were ready to spend $700 on round-trip tickets from the Pacific Northwest to Houston and back but the daughter's SIL is coming down from Alaska to visit.

So, instead, we'll plan for next Spring, when I will have vacation time. The idea is to go down to DW's parents. Then drive to Houston to pick daughter, hubby, and baby, drive back to in-laws, visit, as much of the family lives in south Texas, get them back to the airport in Houston (IAH) and then get them back up to home.
