4D Sono pics!

    4D Sono pics!

So last week my Dr asked me if I would like to get a 4D sono.  I told her I had been thinking about it and asked how much it was, since it is elective and not covered by insurance.  She told me it was on her!  So I went and had it done yesterday and it was so amazing!  Hubby wasn't anywhere near as excited as I was about it, but once he got there, he grinned and smiled the entire time.  We are both still in a baby haze dreaming out our little girl and seeing such a clear image of her face.  Just thought I would share the pics for anyone who is interested.  The sonographer said we got some really good shots, that most babies cover their faces and just don't cooperate.

Here is a link to the entire album: http://picasaweb.google.com/boneyjean/4DSono28Weeks#

I can't embed the image so you can just go look at the album.  Smile  Some of the better ones have captions at the bottom where she is smiling.

That is so cool!  Way back in 1987 when I first saw my son's grainy black and white profile, I was thrilled.  Then I couldn't stop dreaming about what he would look like until he was born.  My daughter was one of the uncooperative ones and we never got a real good look at much of anything.  They *thought* she'd be a girl, but made no guarantees.  Congrats, I bet you're so excited!

Those are the neatest things!  They've come a long way in producing pics of in-utero babies.  Just makes your heart melt, doesnt it.  Especially when she smiles at you!!

You'll be amazed at how accurate they are too.  My best friend had 4D done with her first daughter and brought them to the hospital when she had Mattie.  We compared the pic next to her little newborn face and sure enough, looked just like her.  (I don't know why I am so surprised by this Stick out tongue)

     How exciting, those are terrific!

Those are awesome!  Congrats!  Back when I had mine you couldn't actually tell what anything was, and even after the Dr. explained and pointed it out, it was still impossible to really see anything.

Aw, so cool! Won't be long before you're holding that sweet little one! I think it must be a guy thing because my DH was never excited about the 4d u/s's. He said it made her look like a freaky plastic baby. My response was to smack him of course! Your baby is so cute!

Wow, you have some really good shots! I

My 4D sucked. Addisen had her feet and arms in the way the entire time, when she wasn't showing us her butt lol

I've never seen that type of ultrasound before.  The whole time I was looking I was saying, "Wow, oh, my God!"  Congratulations, we are really, really happy for you.

Those are so neat!  I had one with Kali, but she wasn't as well formed yet so it just looked like fire baby.  And there is no 4d here so I couldn't have one with Kelci.

I can't wait to see more of your little one.  Do you have a name picked out?
