    Mindless Chatter - Wed

I have an electrician coming to check out my hot tub today. 1 step closer to getting it hooked up! It has been on the back burner and I really want it hooked up asap!

Abbie is now receiving all of her meals out of my pocket throughout the course of the day. She is at the stage where she runs away if she sees me coming. Or if she has something in her mouth she will run outside so I can't catch her. So she is going to get a crash course in "drop it" and coming when called - or she starves ;) So far it is working very nicely.

I went on a cleaning rampage last night instead of going to help with agility class. I mega cleaned both spare bedrooms for the visitors I have coming on Friday. I also cleaned out my room and switched Abbies crate to a bigger one. I haven't touched the bathroom, living room, dining room or kitchen yet. That will be tonight's chore after I sell my old car.

Did I mention that I have a buyer for the Rendezvous? We are doing the deal tonight. I am belly up on the loan but I don't care at this point. I just want it GONE!

When your done cleaning your house wanna come clean mine? It wont take but about an hour. Not very dirty. I just hate cleaning. When I lived with my grandparents my chores were cleaning my bathroom, dust every room except the parents room, and take care of my room. Well when my grandma critizes and cleans the bathroom and dusts after I just did that just made me mad and not even bother cleaning. I finaly just would lie and tell her I did and off she would go to clean up "better."

Dont you hate it when your dog acts like you beat them but you have never laid a hand on them? Lillie is like that. She either runs or gets into a submissive posture when she is being a little naughty. Abbie be GOOD!!!

Willow has basically forgotten all her manners since being on the Prednisone.  She used to take things so gentle.  Now, she can barely manage it.  She is acting like a major brat face too.  The other day I heard a bunch of clanging out on the deck, she had dragged the recycle bin over to the middle and was going thru the cans!  She's been trying to grab stuff if we put it down now, something she never did.  She's being very defiant too, ignoring us when we tell her to do something.  I suppose it's my fault.  She was so sick, I didn't care how she acted as long as she was "OK".  But, now I think I've created a bit of an issue.  Embarrassed

Pred will do that to a dog. When Dakota was on it she was a major witch with a B! I couldn't stand it and finally stopped giving the medication to her.

Just got an email back from the breeder I'm buying my pup from and everything is set up for Jan. All I have to do is send her an email letting her know the deposit is on it's way and I'll have a pup in the summer.(if there's a litter of course) Big Smile!! *dances* And I have permission to bring Maze with me when I pick up my boy so they'll meet somewhere where Maze has never been so no territorial issues there. Gawd! I can't wait! Now I just have to find work and everything will be in motion!

My head hurts, my nose feels like it's gonna explode and I sound like I've swallowed a frog.. I HATE BEING SICK!! *glares at her roommate who gave her the cold*  At least I can still get up and do stuff otherwise I'd go insane..

Tomorrow night I'm making Lasagna for the first time and my neighbor is bringing over homemade cheesecake. *drool*

Any advice to get rid of the pressure in my nose would be great!

And Abbie! Behave! Mom supplies good food and treats!

aww man i would love to have a  hot tub!! I dont even have a bathtub! just a shower, nothing to soothe my aching muscles! lucky lucky!!  which REALLY REALLY sucks after 3 hours of getting my butt kicked. It'll be so worth it in the end, it's just incredibly hard right now.  You know those moments that you never want to experience where you're actually fighting for your life? thats what I'm training for. it's very intense

oooooh lasagna yum! I have never made it either although I keep saying that I'm going to one of these days. I'm just not a cook. I hate being bothered with preparing the meal then cleaning it up.

Rule in my house who ever cooks doesn't clean so no cleaning for me. Big Smile I've just recently found that I'm most relaxed when I'm baking or cooking. *sigh* Such a domestic wife I am. Lol.  I love expermenting with new recipes.

LASAGNA!!!!! YUMMY!!!! We need to make it again! It makes alot we freeze it and have it forever. We make a mean lasagna. You can come over for dinner Julie we always have plenty!

I am so happy. We took the doggies to a local place to practice dock jumping with some friends. Teddi will always go, it is NOT an issue. But Belle has been tricky and I can not figure out when she will or won't play or why.  She has not played at this particular dock in about 2 years. I hemmed and hawwed about taking her. First I jumped Teddi about a half a dozen times. Great as always. Then I put Belle on the "puppy dock" (4' long,  6" high at the edge of the water) two times she jumped off that dock! Even that was an issue earlier this year. So all happy and being silly I took her up on the real dock, placed Belle about 10 feet from the edge, tossed her toy and SHE JUMPED!!!!! So again I jumped for joy, took her up again placed her halfway, and she jumped AGAIN!!! Then I tried full dock, she ran down the dock and jumped like a star!!! I was thrilled.

I jumped the Teddster a few more times, and thought should I try Belle again? So I took Belle back up one more time, placed her at the end of the dock, and she did it again! Not once did she stop or hesitate jumping. I was so happy I stopped and made a huge fuss. I did not want to jump her until she stopped, I wanted to finish on a positive note. DH said her last jump was around 18'. She can jump bigger, and if we can get her confidence back perhaps she may yet show the "Belle Non Believers" what she can do.

Ann, when you make lasagna do you freeze it before or after you cook it? I like to make big batches of things and freeze individual servings, but I've always wondered how to do lasagna.

Lori, Pirate was a TOTAL BRAT the entire time he was on pred. It's not you, trust me.

I made cinnamon rolls this morning and I ate three :O they were so good! All gooey and sticky...sigh. SIGH. There is one leftover - it's staring at me. I just gulped down a 32 oz. Gatorade so I'm kind of sloshy in my belly, and I don't think a cinnamon bun will help.

I went to the dentist today for the first time in a long, long, time...and I liked him! The dentist was a HS classmate of BF's mom - he's been BF's dentist since he has had teeth. When you are a 'new' client he lets you come sit in his office and chat for a little bit about your dental goals (hehe). They took x-rays and whatnot - I didn't have to get my teeth cleaned this week, I get to go next week! They like you to have a good first experience, I guess. They give you a nice pillow and I had my own TV with a remote and everything! He wasn't even mean to me for not flossing. I really liked him! I have to get my stupid wisdom teeth out, but I'm sick of them anyway, they hurt!

Ugh! I just called my sister to confirm her coming out on Friday to help with the frisbee contest on Sat and she's SICK! She sounded awful and was at the doctors. I told her to not come out if she's sick. She was going to bring her BF and my niece so I would have 4 people to help with the competition. Now I'm down to 2! Me and one of my friends. I will have to drum up some volunteers out of my other friends.
