My pupper (Liesje)

Not sure which one, but it will either be Red, Green, or Brown boy. There are 10 total, 4 boys, but one appears to be plush or long coated (I think long coats are stunning, but Coke has enough coat for five dogs so I'm set with long coats for now!). Brown boy is the biggest one. He was very chilled out, acting like he knows how handsome he is! Green boy impressed me by wanting to play tug with DH the entire time. Red boy seems to be the all around package, looks stunning! The litter is a "B" litter so in keeping with my U2 obsession mine will probably be registered as Bono (or Bowie, or Barack...lol). Still brainstorming possible call names. They are 4 weeks old. As they develop their temperaments, I will trust the breeder to help match us with the right one or whichever one chooses us.

They are absolutely stunning. I don't envy you having to choose between the three of them.

Oh they are just adorable. Good luck making that decision, but I'm sure you'll be happy with whichever one you choose.

When does the lucky boy get to come home with you?

I second that!
I can tell you love the GSD breed, and you're very educated in what that breed needs. Whichever one you choose will be very lucky!

Thanks guys! Hopefully *I* won't have to pick. I don't know how to asses conformation at this age. The breeder was setting them up and pointing things out to me, I'm like "uh huh...." She always has more people interested than available puppies, and she will decline people that just aren't the right match. Some people are impatient and for whatever reason HAVE to know what puppy is theirs; I would rather give them a few more weeks so I can tell her what I am looking for and she will be able to make an accurate assessment. Her and her daughter spend a LOT of time with her puppies so I'm confident that she will match them; I cannot really judge them based on only a half hour. She was in Germany last week for the national GSD show there and came home with a pup that had never been outside of the whelping box (in an outdoor kennel). I guess in Europe you have to very carefully evaluate puppies because a lot of the dogs aren't socialized like we do here. By contrast, her puppies are born and raised in the home, she has many people handle them, they are taken on car rides, litter trained, house trained, crate trained, etc.

I have a serious case of puppy envy!

They are all beautiful and I am sure she will help you with the right choice, just as I am sure you will do well.

As for the plush, I have to tell you I adore the look of the longer hair, Kord has a stock coat, like Kenya, but Babe had the plush and she was a stunner. In terms of care it really is no different. You brush and vacuum daily. The only difference is you will see them blow more coat in spring and fall.

I am eagerly waiting the choice!
