I'm a proud mom today!

    I'm a proud mom today!

Last night we had Intermediate Class graduation, and they both passed!  I knew they had most of the work down pat, but just based on their age (10 months next week!) I thought we'd have to take Intermediate at least one more time.  But our trainer passed them both!  We're on to Advanced and beginning Agility and I'm soo excited.  We went to the dog park earlier in the day to get some energy out.  I made them heel off leash for a lap around the entire park.  Moxie did wonderful; Wiley was a little all over the place, but pretty good.

Just had to share my happiness!  All the frustration and patience is paying off!

That's wonderful news!  Your dogs sound like such good ambassadors for the breed, congrats on their (and your!) success!

     Wow! That's great!

    Congratulations!

    Good job and congratulations!

Congrats on all your hard work and patience paying off!  Isn't it great when they listen?  Big Smile

Congrats!  Your babies are sooooooooooo gorgeous!  Give them extra belly rubs from me.  I loves me some Pibbles.

Thanks everyone!  They are worth all the work, time, frustration... everything.  Sometimes I have to remind myself that even though they are 55lbs already and look like adults, they are still just babies!  10 months is sooo young and they are doing so well.  Yes, they MUST be ambassadors for the breed.  Even if I only change a few peoples' minds, I know I've done my part.  I want to change them all, but ya know...  Huh?    We're working toward the CGC, and therapy with only my girl.  She's calm enough and loves kids, but my boy is a little too excitable.  Thanks again!

Oh, I hope you go for at least a CGC for your boy too.  As far as your breed goes, I think the more letters after their names the better for the breed.  I hope that makes sense.

    Congratulations!

Oh yes, they will definitely both go for CGC.  Moxie has such a sweet and docile demeanor that I think she'd be great as a therapy dog.  She was extra calm around young children and even my 82yo grandmother without any specific training.  Even though she sometimes jumps on adults if she's excited (which we're still working on), she's never jumped on a child and seems to realy enjoy their company.  I'd like to do something specific with Wiley; maybe Flyball but I'm not sure yet.  He still doesn't have a particular favorite activity (besides hunting for food, trying to open the garbage can, or sneaking upstairs ever so slowly so his tags don't jingle in an effort to eat the "kitty crunchies" without getting yelled at... yuck!...)

LMAO!  Why can't we have a dog competition with THESE activities?  We could all have blue ribbons and gold stars! So funny about him going slow so his tags don't jingle, what a smart dog.

    Congrats on your accomplishment!!
