I have been a member in good standing of our national breed club for a very very long time. , The National Specialty that I am going to tomorrow is my 14 th or 15th .... I did not know about our Breed Club when we first got into RRs. Back then the Internet was iffy and all of us were working in the dark. As we learned soooo much more about millers and BYBs and just Oh Heck Life got in the way ... All of us stepped up and responded financially and with our own facilities ... I whelped litters for rescue ...waaay more than for myself. Hey just cause your daddy may or may not be a champion is Zero reason for the litter to have a less than Champion whelp!! It matters not to me if the breeding is ummmm mixed or purebred Seriously... I just want any puppy coming into the world to have an optimal chance... I KNOW I can give that.. benefits of being a retired RN with multiple zones.
Sometimes It is really frustrating as the scum understands how to manipulate the system... they get a Hot mail addy and use initials and say what they want... the Mods on different boards have to brake down on any thing which could cause a problem with the Wrong kind of poster...
I get it ...the common good... lets face it this list helps a Whole Lot of Folks!! I would die of Shame if I destroyed it. But dag gum it .... to borrow a very old cuss word... When CAN we step up??? What are the boundaries? How can we say Hey YOU .. you want a well bred dog and this particular person is a horrific puppy miller. They have an Awesome Cyber WebSite Yee haww must be true......???? Then some one with definitive evidence says HEY this is NOT the place to shop.... but the "breeder " is under fire and the list has to shut down folks with specific info to protect the sponsor.... I AM NOT blaming that action... I just want to know what the heck do you do??
There was an issue earlier and I will go into NO details I really hate being slapped on the wrist just cause I know something the rest of you do not... I accept It is Necessary to protect the list but what NOW???? The Breed list is being soooo careful and that leaves the Members list if this breeder is a skunk you need a place to notify Right?? But if just say you are looking at Vizsla's or RRS ... How ....HOW do I teach you or hey lets call it what it is How do I warn you???
Life is what it is....sucks I know Heck I have the scars to show for it. I realize that some trainers have to all Nazi or Cesar on a dog... and others can go a different way...with work and effort all of them will work,
Just wish there was a way past the litigious world..... one that would at least allow us to give notice regarding a kennel ... Any one with a Brilliant Concept?? Holler !!
