I'm so glad Charlie is okay! And, I'm glad you called the company to complain.
One of the stipulations of the contract when we bought our house was that they replace some siding, and apparently when the workers were done painting over the new siding, they thought it would be a-okay to just dump the excess paint down our water drainage lines. 2 months into owning our first house, and we had a toilet back up, water all over our downstairs floors, emergency plumbing bill, had to call the county to investigate (because the blockage was under the street in their territory), and they are the ones who discovered the clogged paint. Resulted in a beautiful cherry tree having to be removed from our front yard (roots growing into the draining lines that the paint collected around), a grass-less front lawn from that, new sod, and carpet cleaning bills. All because some lazy SOBs decided to dump paint (sooooo not cool!!!)
