• New here, can I join? Amy Kent Posted : 3/7/2006 12:58:37 PM Hi there!  My name is Amy, and I am here because I love talking about my dogs!  I have two dogs right now, and this weekend I am getting another.  I am not partial to any breed, I  love them all.  The two dogs I do have are shelter rescues, and the one I am getting this weekend is a rescue as well.  He is a yellow lab puppy.  I've never had labs before, but I've been reading a lot about them and I am so excited.  He is only a few months old, and they are pretty sure he is purebred lab, but I dont care either way.  I've never had a purebred dog my entire life.  Besides my dogs I have two sons, and a husband.  I live in Wyoming, and it is absolutely beautiful where I live.  I am really looking forward to getting to know some of you, and your owners!  As soon as I figure out how to post pictures I will show you my babies.  LIKE 27 REPLIES 1351 VIEWS LAST POST DASHER Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • jeano Posted : 3/7/2006 2:21:06 PM Welcome to i-dog, Amy! Is your rescue labbie pup the first pup you've had in a while, too? My Sofia is the first dog that I raised from a pup in over 30 years, since all the other dogs I've had were adult rescues. I looooove puppies, but oh my what work they entail! Then again, I'm glad I had her as a baby, because I always wished I could have had Stevie (see pic below) as a pup. I agree, Wyoming is very beautiful. • Amy Kent Posted : 3/7/2006 2:45:20 PM Thank you for all the welcomes.  I can already tell I am going to love it here.  This will be the first pup I've had in about 3 years.  I just quit working to be a stay at home mom, and I figured it would be a great time to start raising a new puppy.  We do live on a ranch, but it's not our ranch.  We bought about 2 acres of another man's ranch land.  So it's like living on a ranch because we are surrounded by horses and cattle.  We just moved here from town a while ago, and my dogs love it here.  They have so much room to run.  They were used to a small yard in the middle of town, but they are definitely getting used to this. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
