Keela says "Squash me!"

Well, anyone know how to preserve baby squash for future use? LOL

Keela loved being baited with squash in the ring this past weekend! We didn't get anything (3rd Sat, 4th Sun), but this was by far, her best weekend in the ring! She actually stood STILL on the table for the exam both days! I am so proud of her (and me)! We have both come a long way since our first step in the ring in March. There was a lot of tough competition, and there was actually a 5 point major Saturday, and a 4 point Sunday. Lots of Min Pins! Points will come now that we have things under control. [:)]

Keela's breeder was there, and got to see us in the ring together for the first time. She did pretty good taking the 4 point major Sunday with her b/r boy she is showing.  And my good friend Wendy, with her  Zoe, got their first major on Saturday. Now Zoe just needs one last major and that will make Wendy finishing two champions this year! Go Wendy!

I didn't show the squash to her too much Saturday, but on Sunday I let her see it before we even walked in the ring. She was bouncing all over the place, but she walked nicely around the ring. She did manage to snag it once while we waited for the other dogs to get done with their table and down/back, so thankfully the judge wasn't watching me pry it out of her mouth. [:D] Trade doesn't work with squash apparently. It is the higher valued item!

But, Keela says "Squash me" and see what happens! LOL I am proud of my girl!
