I am SO tired today. Yesterday was quite the roller coaster. I was wound so tight by the end of the day. I had a GREAT ride on my horse he was in a silly mood and I enjoyed his antics. He was not naughty just playful and proud of himself. 

We got most of the "big" stuff done. All the bank accounts and credit cards taken care of. New locks, insurance company notified. This is such a pain. We leave tonight for a long weekend up north. We are still going and I know we both need this especially now. However I have mixed emotions about being gone. I know they won't be back, nothing left to take. I guess it is just a normal feeling. '

My plan for the weekend is a whole lotta nothing. I plan to sit in a chair by the water and watch my dogs have a great time.

 Ann I think you are doing a lot better than I would be doing - hopefully you, DH and the girls can have a very relaxing weekend.

Julie do whatever will give you a greater sense of satisfaction/relaxation.  If staying home and making sure the house is clean will help you chill then do that and vice versa.

Still having some asthma problems - can't stand it!!

 Julie I know how you feel about those burs!! But you have a dog that helps you pull them out?!!! Send her to me. I could use her to pick burs out of Lillie.

I cant win with this weather. I turned off the AC and opened the windows but it got stuffy. So I turn on the AC and now Im freezing. And it's on low with the energy saver on.

Re. the burs - last time I boarded Kenya, my sister picked her up for me and they gave her a note from the woman that cared for her and she mentioned that she had "brushed out all the burs for me".  I read it and was like "what the hell? I never left my dog with any burs on her!"  So I e-mailed the facility to thank them for brushing her out and just casually mentioned that I wasn't sure where the burs came from since I brushed her and dropped her off clean and they use outdoor runs.... 

So the other day I was driving home from agility and noticed the cold-hot indicator on my dashboard was all the way up on the H.  It's not something I consciously check, but I've never seen the car go above halfway.  Then on the way to work, it stayed on C and then all the sudden started going up to the H (I could see it move) and got halfway, which is not bad, but I live only a few blocks from work.  We called the body shop but they can't see the car until Wed.  Tomorrow night I was supposed to go look at the puppies.  I convinced my mom to trade cars so I can take her car instead. 

 Ugh, I just woke up and its 11am here.

Some jerkoff last night came squealing around our street at 4am, waking me up. They get out of the car and he starts screaming at the top of his lungs 5 houses down, and I come to hear its a boyfriend/girlfriend argument. After a few minutes and I realize they aren't going to go inside, I just call the cops. Good thing I did because he started breaking glass, and I don't know if it was glass bottles or what, sounded like he was throwing them off the van she was driving though. Completely ridiculous! I felt bad for the people that lived in the house right next to it, because they have a young daughter. The cops came and I seen he made them clean up all the glass that was all over the road, I could see shadows bending over picking things up, they were there for an hour and then the van got towed around 530. Yes the dogs were all wide awake and I didnt fall back asleep until 630. Thankfully I didn't have to be at work like DH did. 

Yesterday was NOT a good day for M&M.  We had thunderstorms in the morning during walk time and all evening, the only real walk they got was at noon with the dog walker.  They have now decided that going potty in the raid is beneath them so they won't do it, I even tried the garage where Morrison has gone before - nope.

So poor Monroe held it until this morning and Morrison peed in my bed and then his own.  It's as if as soon as he goes to sleep his poor bladder lets go.  He was probably in my bed during the afternoon or while I was at the neighbors helping them bring in yard stuff.  I didn't notice anything until I tried to go to bed, huh, new sheets et al first.

We got to the park for a nice romp this morning and they were in doggy heaven.  There was even a 10 mo old female Viszla for Morrison to run around with, she could almost outrun him!

I am getting my mid-year review today....  wish me luck!

It's supposed to be 107 degrees today - ugh!! I'm glad that DH is home so he can take care of the dogs.

I came home last night and DH and Sassy were sitting in our new kayak in the family room. Sassy seemed totally comfortable sitting in it but we'll see if that continues once it's in water. Her life vest came yesterday too so DH put it on her and put her in the pool. He said she seemed totally confused by how it kept her afloat.

This feels like it should be Friday to me

It's supposed to be 107 degrees today - ugh!!

True!  But it's supposed to be 90 on Sunday. I decided that this would be a good morning to go outside with a bowl of soapy water and  Scotch Brite scrubby and get all the sap and bird poop off  the white yard chairs.  It was so nice outside and there was a cool breeze blowing.  I could have gone back to sleep out there. It's hard to believe it's going to get to 107 before the day is over,  but yesterday was the same way - cool and breezy in the morning and miserable by about 3:00 p.m. I am SO ready for fall.

Ann- have you considered calling your local police to tell them you were burglarized this week and will be going out of town and would appreciate an extra scan through your neighborhood?  Do you feel comfortable with your neighbors to tell them the same?  I bet they'd want to know that the house next door was robbed so they could protect themselves and look out for the neighborhood as a whole.

I am being very productive today, despite the quick venture over here... It feels good to get so much stuff done!

 I'm putting off going to the Clinic today.. I really don't want to go but my foot hurts pretty bad and I've got a nice bruise forming on the top. *sigh*  Well here's hoping it's not to bad.

Wish me luck! I'm gonna need it. I hate doctors!

I am harnessing the power of the sun and using it as a huge clothes dryer. I made two clotheslines and hung my entire load of clean laundry to dry.

OH trust me the WHOLE neighborhood knows. They were all outside when all the police were at my house. LOL Hey excitement in the neighborhood they came out of the woodwork. My neighbors and us included usually look out for each other, it's a GREAT neighborhood. That is how we know it happened in the AM, a couple of our neighbors thought it was odd our garage door was open and we were not home. Because nothing like this has happened in this neighborhood for over 20 years, no one was suspicious but they noticed. Good thought though. I actually thought about having DH call the police and alert them. I was worried it would sound paranoid, there isn't much good stuff left to come back for. Perhaps I will, just the peace of mind we called whether or not they do drive by will probably make me more at ease.  We do have a really good police force too. Livonia was rated in the top 20 I believe of safest places to live in the US.

Phew - review is over and I'm "a very valued member", I show a "strong passion" combined with "professionalism".  I guess my job is secure for another 6 months or so.

Max's Mom - I'm so sorry that you were robbed!  I'm glad you are getting away for the weekend and I hope you enjoy sitting by the water.
