I'm keep my fingers crossed for all of you gulf coasters too. Just seems like there is always something to worry about. I've been down there during storms and see how fast the water just rises and sits with no where to go. One day during a rainy season in S Carolina we were on a golf course trying to get done before the rain was to come back...since it had already been raining there a lot. We got a few holes in and it started....we sat in our carts with all umbrellas up under as much shelter has possible....and after about 45 min. we gave up and drove back in. It was the scariest drive back because the water was coming up so fast,,that we could not see the cart path and we couldn't tell the difference between a lake or grass, .besides the rain blowing in our face. It showed us just how dangerous that water is down there when you get too much.
Soon , we will be complaining about the dangers of snow and ice here in Ohio....but right now we will send good vibes to you all.
