This has to stop...

First off, i emailed her, and i got a reply. She DID email me and i see no reason to argue over weather or not she did. Thats just stupid. ( and if you got the idea that she sent me or i sent her an offensive email, your wrong. ) I simply emailed her after she said she was leaving, to ask her if she would stay or if she could give me another board she posts on, so i could still see her online, since i like getting advice from her. I dont know how she forgot i emailed her. But whatever happened, thats her business, not mine. So lets just drop it.
 
I didnt want this thread to turn into yet another place to argue, that was not my point.

Well emmas_mom, since you feel the need to continue this that is your choice, but like we(the forum.dog.com moderators) said in a previous post, I have the emails that she sent. 
So I guess this is Brenda's attempt to rally the troops around her. 
This is exactly what I am confused about.....she said she was leaving, her emails to us (the forum.dog.com moderators) basically told us to do things to ourselves that I can not believe would come out of a mother's mouth, prior to being suspended, but what is the point of this. 
Is there another forum that would allow this to happen?
What I find fascinating is the number of emails that I receive on a daily basis about this one or that one, but if we (again the forum.dog.com moderators) do anything/nothing we are called every name in the book, if we said the sky is blue we hear about the fact that somewhere in the world it is not.
Again, is there another forum out there that would allow this?
So could we move on past this and look at the fact that this forum has a lot to offer that I have not seen anyone take advantage of?

I want to implement videos on here, yes I said videos, but if all we concentrate on is the negative, than I am not sure what the point would be.
Does anyone realize the impact this forum has?
When it is not bogged down on petty bulls--t, we have vendors calling us all the time asking for them to be mentioned/not mentioned on this forum, but instead of concentrating on what this forum was created for, and has continued to do, we waste all of this possible energy on what one person said/did/will do/could possibly do/etc.....instead of doing what it can do. 
18.000 + people can make a difference.
So with this said, please I am asking all of you to please use This forum for what it can accomplish, the list is huge, dogs being banned, puppy mills etc, this is the world wide web, and people take notice, but do they really take notice when all of it's energy is revolving around topics not at all related to what this forum is about?

I think Brenda was confused, because i sent her anther email from another address that i never had in my profile, so i dont know if she thought i was a diffrent person or something.....
 

Trina, I am confussed, this has nothing to do with you or any email(s) that she may or may not have sent to you.  The emails were sent direcly to me and the others here at form.dog.com.
Am I missing somethng?

I'd like to say I am beyond confused since last I saw on the other board, brenda posted her goodbye right before the board went down and I saw Jaime posted she was not banned.
 
Ah well... it is sad when anyone leaves for any reason.  I hope I can still get help and pics of brenda's pups and I hope Gina and emma's mom stay around too. 
 
Also, I like the new board but still need to play lots to figure it out but won't have high speed access all weekend... ahh!  I was debating taking off work tomorrow and now I think I need to for my Idog fix haha.

Joel, the argument seems to be that Trina said she received an email from Brenda, which Brenda seems to be denying through Jean.  Thank you for clarifying that THAT email was not at issue.
 
I think it's time for all of us to speak only for ourselves and NOT what someone else tells us.  And if anyone wants to send ME nasty emails for that go right ahead.  My delete button works JUST fine.

Everytime there is a blip of change on idog people go off the deep end and act like snotty brats. I feel sorry for the admins. I don't like change either and I am not computer literate. But guess what, I'm an adult and I deal with it. There are lots of posts and people I don't agree with or even like. Guess what, I deal with it. Idog has lost lots of people ever since it was started. The board is made by who stays not by who leaves. So lets get on with it in a polite and orderly fashion.

All of the confrontational posts relating to people coming and going have over 500 hits on them (some over a 1000).  While the more helpful areas are not seeing nearly those numbers.
 
I think that for all of us that post frequently...lets get back to doing something productive.  It's nice that we can see what the lurkers are reading...
 
I take a lot of pride in Idog, and I'm kind of embarrassed.  Lets get back to what we do best.  Talking about dogs. [sm=blush.gif]
