Bugsy's day at Irena farm - pic heavy

You got me grinning from ear to ear, especially the swimming pics and captions.  Bugsy is just too darn CUTE for words!  

That looks like fun!! Irena's crew + Bugsy and a lake whohoooo!!!

Great pictures!  Bugsy looks like he had a fabulous time.  

I am completely green with envy. What a wonderful experience and yay for Bugsy and swimming. I think Sassy might actually jump in and swim if she went there.

Those came out pretty good!  I'm struggling with my computer - I need to shut down but I'm too lazy to quit out of everything I'm working on here ATM.  I'll work on it tomorrow while I'm sitting at the sheepdog trial.

Hehe, I have video of Bugsy swimming.  He was so brave to get in the water with the Loch Ness Lynn!  It's so funny when dogs first start swimming and they literally "dog paddle" - forgetting they have rear ends!  Ted would dive in and then splash frantically, with this wild-eyed look on his face.  I never thought he'd get it.  He's a good swimmer now though.

We really enjoyed having you out.  We love visitors!  Bugsy really does have some serious energy.  Ben and Maggie were both wiped out for the rest of the day.  Ted, Lynn, and Zhi of course were raring to go again right after "breakfast."  Next time we'll plan for lunch and all and go on the big walk up to the upper field (where Gus found the whatever and wouldn't come back).  Our neighbor has tobacco just ripening, and soybeans just sprouting, so we're steering clear even though he's never had a problem.

Darn!  I'm such a dork.  I should have loaded you up with pears - we have way more than I know what to do with.  I'm not used to things actually growing for me, much less having enough to share.

Okay, that's it - you have to come back next week and get some pears.

as for energy well he laid down in the car - which is not the norm - but when we got home he jumped out and got one of his toys to play with, but mischief was low -  did manage to have a successful mole hunt in the early evening.  He did sleep well though 

Thank you everyone it was super fun and a great opportunity to see how Bugsy has matured and learned - the picture I should have taken was him standing in the shade under the tree looking at me like - nah I'm not ready to go yet!

And well the swimming I am so very hopeful that he really has discovered it and we can exercise him via swimming instead of running/biking/walking all the time. In the past he only swam to chase something and I believe that was accidental. so fingers crossed!

well may be not next week - but I am sure we will be back
