It's been a long time!!!

Hi all, it's been a LONG time since I last posted! SO much has happened in the last 8 months! I finally left my husband back in January (I had posted about domestic abuse, some of you might remember) and my life is so much happier! I met a wonderful man and he has been great with my girls and to me and I am so greatful for him. He also has 2 dogs, a Rottweiler and an Akita/Alaskan Malamute mix. I still have Butter of course! She is happier than ever and has become best friends with Rusty, the Akita mix.

The girls are great. Peyton will be 4 in December and Cadence is 19 months old now and walking all over the place! Cady doesn't have any lasting effects from her premature birth except her size. She is still tiny, but healthy.

I don't have a computer, so I can't get online much, I just wanted to say hello to you all and let you know am still alive! I miss this place soooo much and I miss each and every one of you! I hope everyone is well and all the pups are too! I love you guys and I think about you ALL the time!

***A special note for Callie.... I have your phone number at home, and I've wanted to call you, but I didn't feel comfortable since I've never called before. I hope you see this and I will call you in the next couple days. You gave me so much support, I'd like to fill you in and thank you "in person". I will talk to you soon!!!

Hi! It's great to see you here again. Many of us were worried about you and it's great to know that the reason is a good one. You took a huge step and I know many of us are proud of you and pleased as punch that all is going well for you now.

Continue to take care and come visit when you can!

Welcome back! A lot of us have been wondering how you are and if you managed to get yourself and your girls to a better place. Sounds like you did and I'm glad things worked out so well for you.

I am SO glad to see you on here! I know many (myself included) were worried about you. Good to hear that things are working out for you and your kids. I'm sure Callie will be happy to hear from you. If I remember right, before you left you'd gotten a puppy....a pitt/rottie mix?

I just wanted to say hello to you all and let you know am still alive!

It seems like you say that so lightly, but some of us were a bit worried! The last we heard you were in a an abusive r'ship.... and then, nothing! So VERY VERY VERY pleased to see you here and me personally, I am THRILLED that you took that step for yourself and your daughters... and I'm over the moon that you are all now much happier. I hope you will have internet access again soon and be able to come online more often, we've missed you! Smile

Sounds like your Cady is nearly the same age as Will - he is just 16 months old and also walking about all over the place - albeit still a bit wobbly!

Again, thank you SO MUCH for dropping in and giving us an update. I really am so happy for you Big Smile

So glad to hear from you and to know you're doing SO very well! That's really a very good thing. You may not realize it, but even that post above gives others a little more hope that even when things look bad, by opening yourself to new opportunities, great things can come into your life. THANK YOU for sharing the update with us! Continued good wishes for you and your girls, and of course Butter!!

Oh, when I opened up this thread I almost jumped up and clapped my hands! I am so glad you are alright and that things are looking up for you. I started a thread a while back wondering where you had been. Like Chuffy mentioned, your last thread left us all really worried.

You'll have to post some updated pics of your girls when you get a chance, as well as the new canine additions to your family.

Glad you're back, we missed you tons!

sounds llike you have been forced to make some difficult choices and were able to come out on top! Congrats on a new life :)
