It's good to see them focused. It's always been my thought that with things like this...or college football. You need to not just beat the teams you are supposed to beat but put them away and remove all hope...no mercy. It will show those still on the schedule that you are for real and there's no upset on the horizon.

My favorite team is still the Dream Team with my guys from Golden State on it tho.

gina, i agree that you should always play your best, if that's what you mean. even when you already lead. but that's just my personal thing. as someone who has always sucked in any kind of sport i think it's most important to do your best.

i played a little basketball in highschool (not cause i was good, but cause our school was VERY small!!) and have felt good after losing certain games just because i knew we did our best. also was bummed after winning some, cause we totally didnt play our best at all and only won cause our oponents sucked...

oh well.. kinda glad i only watched the last quarter on this one. it was painful enough to watch! hahaha

Sports is so very psychological. If a team out there has even a smackeral of belief that they can beat you then they have an advantage.

Yes playing your best is important...but when your best is lightyears better than some other teams you should make sure they know that...so that the teams after them will also know it LOL.

Mercenary...but it does seem to work for truly dominant teams.
