Oh Julie I tell you what Ranger would've found himself in one room if he pulled those antics in my house - Bugsy says he is an embarrassment to big dogs
I don't know what is going on but my body is failing me these days. This darn shoulder is inhibiting me and yesterday my lower back went into severe spasms and is still very touch and go. I wasn't sure I could walk the beast this morning but I used it as an opportunity to put him in bootcamp and he did well. In fact we met this guy that once had a dane/dobe/boxer mix and saw a lot of that in B but said he didn't think dobe - he did say he as one gorgeous creature
Julie I'm jealous of your new hot tub DH wants one and I keep saying no but with my back as it is I could go buy one today and finish off our back of the house 'spa'.
Jewlieee
Dogs respect her, even at her young age.
That has always been the case with Bugs and he was never aggressive - always fascinated me. When he was about 5 months old two GSD's that were loose came flying at us from some woods - I was pretty darn nervous, but B just stood there very tall, tail straight up, never flinched and they pulled up - postured and snarled a bit but came no closer. Their hackles were raised and they weren't coming to say hello but B could care less - he didn't make a sound, no hackles, nothing. They turned and trotted off. My heart rate was through the roof and Bugs went right back to his little jaunty walk like nothing happened. Just recalling it amazes me.
Most dogs from day one lay down when the meet him - we used to wish that some dog wouldn't and that he would for them but it still hasn't happened - some dogs really do have the mojo. I am sure you are, but be strict about NILIF for her - we still have to revert to being strict or he gets too bold.
