Does your dogs shedding now?

I just had to jump in and say "Rory hardly sheds", ha ha ha ha!

You got lucky, lol. Jaz sheds buckets. And pretty much year-round.

Shadow our Rottie rarely shed or at least it wasnt noticable.  Now we have Hot Shot and Rocky.  Rocky sheds but it is fine short undercoat Hot Shot sheds buckets full.   We we got him in May we were told he was "blowin" his coat, new word for us.   He has shed all summer, but we have notice both of them have really picked it up this last week.  We are in Arkansas and it has been unusually mild this summer only about 2 weeks of 90+ temps then the last week it has gotten in the lower 60's at night and upper 70's during the day.. Since we havent have never had a long haired dog before I just thought this was normal.  I brush him at least every other evening and sometimes every evening.  Now the house work has also increased, lol.....  Thats ok, we love them both I guess we can just put up with a little hair.

Sophie is blowing her coat right now.  Actually, this is the first time it's ever happend (she's only a year old), so it's interesting. I'm brusing her out every night as I don't want the undercoat to become impacted.  Other than right now, she hardly ever sheds. 

I've yet to see my other dog, Cruiser, shed at all.  I brush him (because he loves it, if he sees me with a brush he follows me wagging his tail and sits in front of me everytime I stop, so cute) and no hair comes out.  Not sure what's up with that.

Copper sheds soooooooooo much I tell him I'm gonna make him sweaters with all the hair he leaves on the floor I can brush him everyday and he still sheds like crazy Lucky not so bad anymore Daisy sheds from time to time seen she sheds more since she's older she turned 12 in july
