Blades of Glory - I can watch it OVER and OVER again! I'm a Will Ferrell fan, so I'm up for pretty much anything he's in! (although, so of his newer ones are not so good....).

    Chuck and Larry

    Wedding Crashers

    Superbad

    Juno

    Forgetting Sarah Marshall

    Definately, Maybe (really cute)

Bucket List (sad, but really good!)

    Dan in Real Life

Zohan (I was hysterical throughout the whole thing!)

    Knocked Up

Across the Universe (not really a 'comedy' but a really good movie)

American Ganster (not a comedy by any means! but a FANTASTIC movie!!)

Freedom Writes (not really a comedy, but good)

    Reign over me

    Get Smart

Stepbrothers (just came out, might not be on DVD yet)

I'm sure there's many, many more.

Does it have to be newer  rather than a bit older?  Two of my all time faves are "The Witches of Eastwick" (Jack Nicholson, Cher) and "Walk Like a Man" (Howie Mandel).  That one is about a kid that gets pushed off a sled by his older brother when he's around 2 yrs old and gets found and raised by a pack of wolves. When he gets found (just in time to claim his inheritance) he has to learn things like how to walk on two legs instead of all fours and not to pee on the chair legs, how to eat like a person etc. Imagine trying to teach your dog to behave like a human.

    Robin Hood: Men in Tights

Father of the Bride Part I & II (I just watched these today on tv, so they're at the forefront of my thinking)

    Best in Show

    Office Space

    Legally Blonde

    Meet the Parents

    Airplane!

    The Whole Nine Yards

    Miss Congeniality

Those are the ones that I can think of right now.

Hmm lessee... I watch more sketches and stand up than I do funny films...

Team America is HUGELY funny, if un-PC.

The Python films (Holy Grail, Life of Brian)

    Robin Hood: Men in Tights

OMG, this was one of my Dad's favorite movies when I was little...and my sisters all made fun of him for it CONSTANTLY. I was little, so I didn't care... I saw it recently for the first time since I was like 7, and almost peed my pants laughing. Who knew!

    "Dumb and Dumber"

    Both Ace Ventura movies.

"Nothing to Lose" with Tim Robbins and Martin Lawrence. "Man, you picked the wrong guy on the wrong day."

"Wild Hogs" It's a funny movie but the most important lines are from Peter Fonda as a walk-on and founder of the Del Fuegos MC. His words embody the true spirit of motorcycle riding, not all the hoodlum and criminal crap that Ray Liotta's cronies fall into. Although I have had an acquaintance with some clubs and have been offered patches and stickers from the Rebels and the Skulls, I would more likely be a member of the Wild Hogs as it fits my middle-aged sensibilities of capturing freedom on two wheels. Not freedom to be a criminal, just to be free on the road, with no watch or cell phone.

    "Revenge of the Nerds"

How's that for a wide spread?

    27 Dresses

The Ringer (ok I really love Katherine Heigl)

    Wedding Crashers

Old School ...IMO, this one is a must see if you haven't

Any of the Thin Man movies...they are funny but in such a smart clever way...and there's a mystery to solve to boot! They don't make movie stars like they used to!

For newer stuff? I tend to like the un pC stuff...Friday is really THE funniest movie I have ever seen.

Thanks for all the responses! I buy used DVDs so aside from new releases I've got at least one sugestion from everyone that I'm going to look for. Most of those films I've never seen as I usually go for the scary stuff first.

Some GREAT funny movies listed here.

Others I have loved are some of the older comedian routines that made video

"An Evening with Robin Williams" (I have seen many times and each time fall out of my chair laughing)

    "Gilda Live" (hysterical)

I don't remember the name of it but it is a Richard Pryor one. What a hoot.

The language can be offensive to some, but I find these hysterically funny!
