Just got off the phone with a Irish Red and White Setter breeder. I am so excited. She has 2 girls ready for their forever homes. They are 5 months old.

Wish me luck!! Looks like she will be coming to live with me soon. I didnt expect to be getting one so soon. Thought I would be put on a waiting list.

I don't know if I'd be able to handle three females in season though Stick out tongue (though to be fair, I doubt I'd ever be able to handle even one female in season Wink )

Still working on the arrangements of getting her. I thought I would be put on a waiting list. I never expected to be offered a pup so soon!!

So would it be cheaper to drive up and get her? Or fly her to me?

When I picked up one of my bitches in Calhoun, KY two years ago it cost me double the gas $ to drive down there than it would to have had her flown in (I'm in NY). That being said, it was an experience I will never forget! Kentucky people are the BEST! Am getting one shipepd from Texas & that's going to run me about $280 in shipping costs. Not terribly bad considering gas prices, which are $4.15 here on average Surprise
