well I got the flat tire fixed

Bugsy's pad looked better so I walked him today - then he decided to launch into world class gold medal zoomies and now it is split again - Ugh. I am really surprised that it isn't better.

Marmaduke made me laugh today - wow have we seen this face

What's wrong with Bugsy's pad? I missed it!

I'm pretty sure that Bev finished off his cruciate last night. We were out on the last potty trip of the night, & he stepped funny. Now he only puts the leg down for balance. I've got a call in to our surgeon to see when we can bring him back for a re-check & probable surgery. I'm trying to decide if we want to do a TPLO or a TTA. I've heard good things about the TTA, but I don't know anyone who has actually had it done. Since Brinxx has had TPLO's on both of her knees, I know what to expect with it. Decisions, decisions...

What's wrong with Bugsy's pad? I missed it!

Well not sure how he did it because he never shows any pain but his front left metacarpal pad has a split or cut in it. I didn't walk him for a couple of days and put CutHeal on it. It looked MUCH better last night so we walked and after it was fine - but then he did a huge zoomie with much change of direction, shrub leaping, sprinting, pouncing on things, you name it. So once he settled inside I had a look again and split again. I think htis will be a doosy to heal, because trying to stop him from zooming is beyond me.

Oh Bevo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My friend's lab had the TTA and has done superb with it. He is young but not terribly fit (understatement). My neighbor's dog has had both back knees TPLO and he is doing OK but as you are aware it is a much longer recovery. I would guess it depends on the tear itself. I am so sorry Amanda and wow he's putting you through some stuff lately Sad
